Dave really does great work - the craftsmanship is beautiful, the pieces of walnut he chose have beautiful figuring like I've never even seen in walnut before (and we have a LOT of walnut furniture before). The stool was carefully packed and arrived more quickly than I expected. All around, a stellar experience and a lovely addition to our home.

About

Fine woodworking and Modern Design, handcrafted in Wakefield, Quebec.

My shop is based in the beautiful riverside town of Wakefield Quebec. This community of artists and artisans is flowing with creativity and source of inspiration for many of my works. My small studio is based behind my house which also houses Patisserie La Toque, my wife's patisserie business. We are very fortunate to live and work in the same place, and it helps us to spend more time with our young family.

Please check out my blog and Facebook page as I'm constantly updating them with images of new items and works in progress.

I've been an avid maker and designer my whole life, but after a career coaching amateur sport at the Olympic level, I was ready for a change of pace. I now design and create modern products out of wood.

Welcome to Craft Collective, my online shop for selling my Fine Woodworking. I am fortunate to live and work in Wakefield, Quebec, a beautiful town with lots of artists, situated on the Gatineau River. This incredible wilderness outside my door is a great inspiration to my projects as well as a source for the materials used to create them.

I make every effort to use locally and sustainably sourced wood in all of my projects, thus reducing the impact on the environment. I feel I am fortunate to live in an area with a variety of wood species and love to show case what is available locally.

Woodworking projects come in a variety of materials, please read the descriptions of individual items for more details. Some projects can be modified to suit your needs, please ask before purchasing as this may affect the price.
