Living the Daydream

Flourishing Quirk's start could probably be traced allllll the way back to the 90's. True story! Allison's mom always wrote in beautiful cursive... even on the grocery list... and of course that meant Allison wanted to write in cursive too.

...and we're done with the awkward third person bio...

I've always been an art lover in need of creative outlets. Back in 2010 I started a blog called Crafted Love where I posted my DIY projects and crafty adventures. I even had a stint design wedding invitations and stationery as a side hustle to my corporate design job. I always daydreamed about the handmade entrepreneur life, but I never had the courage to pursue it full time. Until...

In 2017 we welcomed a baby girl into our lives and everything changed. I wanted a job that I looked forward to on Mondays; one that my daughter could watch me pursuing and be proud. So I left my corporate design job and started Flourishing Quirk: a hand-lettering online boutique full of home decor, art, and quirky gifts.

If you're local to Dayton, Ohio you might even find some of my goodies in local shops or some of my designs on window fronts. I can finally say I'm living the dream and I hope you enjoy what you see!

Printing Help

Select "Actual Size" in your printer settings. Do not "scale" to any % of the page. This is usually the cause for page sizes not matching up to your planner.
