Announcement   The Story Behind "Little Birds Told Me":

My love of birds has been life-long. Ever since I was a young girl, I've always enjoyed their feathers and songs, the way they hop about on the ground, and the way they can soar through the sky. My mother always encouraged me to craft, and through her, I've been able to truly channel my love of birds into craft projects and art. Here at Little Birds Told Me, I am pleased to present you with quality needle felted birds and other winged creatures.

If you see anything you like, feel free to inquire about it. I take commissions and am able make items in a variety of colors (ask away, as my wool stock is always changing!). I'm more than willing to work with you to make the perfect product, whether it be a set of lovebirds for a wedding cake or a Christmas ornament.

All orders are always shipped with USPS. Support union jobs!

All purchases go towards helping me continue my college education! Thank you for your time and interest!

This is just as adorable as I thought it would be, and it arrived quickly! My friend who studies these for a living was extremely tickled with her gift. Thanks!

Arrived quicker than I expected. I had asked for a note on the packing slip to my gift recipient and instead received a beautiful note on equally beautiful stationary. Much more special care and service than I had expected. The follow up was amazing too. Such a wonderful experience!! Will definitely order again.

About

"Can I call you the Bird Lady?"

It all started one night as I was laying on the couch in pain after having my wisdom teeth removed. Between lapses of pain-killer induced insanity, my mother presented me with a small gift: a beginners needle felting set. Three hours later, a titmouse was created. From there, the love affair with wool has transformed into a very small business that can be found on Etsy and craft shows across Ohio.

Little Birds Told Me is proud to offer an array of needle felted, nature based goods. Although my main inspiration is birds, I have been known to create a few fuzzy mammals, as well as mythical creatures from time to time. Whether it be a Christmas ornament, a wedding cake topper, or simply a new wooly companion, Little Birds Told Me is here to help!

I am the next in a long line of woman crafters in my family. Ever since I was very young, my mother shared with me all of the crafting knowledge that she inherited through her mother. Because of her, I am now able to offer you an assortment of handmade items that will make you as happy to hold and as they were for me to make.

If you see anything you like, feel free to inquire about it. I take commissions and can make items in a variety of colors (ask away, as my wool stock is always changing!). I'm more than willing to work with you to make the perfect product, whether it be a felted birdie or a stone necklace!

Payment
All payments must be made with PayPal or a valid credit card through direct check out. Work will not begin on any custom product until payment is received.
Shipping
As soon as payment has been received, I will ship or begin work on your custom item, usually within the week. If I am backordered or it is a particularly busy time of year (ie Christmas, Exam week, etc.), shipping and creation make take an additional week. Please inquire if you are concerned about when your item may be shipped.
Refunds and Exchanges
Requests for replacements will be accepted within three days of arrival. If for instance, your bird arrives and a wing has fallen off, please send it back and I will fix it, free of charge.

If a customer would prefer a refund, I can do so within three days of arrival. However, this will require a photo of the damaged bird (sent via Etsy message) and a description of the problem.

These policies are only applicable if either the seller or postal service is at fault. For example, if the customer's cat rips up a needle felted good, Little Birds Told Me is not responsible for that, even if within the three day period. In that scenario, a refund or exchange will not be accepted. However, I would love to work with you to create a new good for you, if such a situation did arise.
