About

How It Began

My sister-in-law taught me the basic garter stitch in 2010. In 2012, I began attending a weekly knitting night with a very accomplished knitter as my mentor. She taught me new patterns and encouraged me to create my own. I also learned how to crochet which expanded my ability to create. At the urging of multiple friends and family, I decided to open my Etsy shop in 2013. I like working from patterns, but I usually end up changing/adjusting something to make it unique and give it a special touch. I love making, creating and doing custom work and sharing my creations with others.

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 7 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 14 days of delivery
I don't accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Returns and exchange details
*Clothing Item Exchanges*
If the clothing or hat purchased does not fit, I will gladly exchange for a different size. The conditions of the exchange are as follows:
-The buyer must contact me for an exchange within 5 days of delivery
-The buyer must ship the item back to me within 7 days of delivery
-The buyer will be responsible for shipping charges to return the original item
-The item must have never been worn other than to try out the size

*Cancellations*
-I will accept cancellations for orders only if the request for cancellation has been made within 24 hours of purchase

*Returns*
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, I will accept returns for a refund under the following conditions:
-If a clothing item or a hat, the item has never been worn
-The buyer must contact me for an exchange within 5 days of delivery
-The buyer must ship the item back to me within 7 days of delivery
-The buyer will be responsible for shipping charges to return the original item

*Items that may not be returned*
Due to the nature of the item, the following items may not be returned for a refund:
-Custom or personalized orders
-Clothing items that have been worn
-Sale or Clearance Items

*I will not issue refunds for any of the following:*
-Mail carrier delays
-Failure to read the processing times listed in the item's description
-Failure to provide a specific date the item is needed
-Failure to request a rush order
-Failure to purchase expedited shipping.

*Processing Times*
-The time I need to prepare an item varies, so each item is listed with the required processing times.
-It is the buyer's responsibility to read the processing time.
-Purchase of the item confirms the terms that it will be an acceptable processing time for the buyer (unless I have been previously messaged regarding a rush order).
-I will not issue a refund for failure to request a rush order to have the item delivered by a specific date.

Shipping
*Processing Time*
-The time I need to prepare an order for shipping will vary. All items will be shipped out within their own specific processing date range found in the listing description. If for some reason I cannot meet that date range, I will message you accordingly.
-If you need a rush order, please message me, and I will give you my best estimate for a rush order completion/shipment date. During the holidays such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, rush fees may apply.
-Domestic packages under 13oz will ship First Class mail (estimated time in transit: 3-10 days). Domestic packages over 13oz will ship Priority Mail (estimated time in transit: 2-3 days).
-Shipment upgrades are available upon request.
-International shipments will ship Priority Mail International

*Customs and Import Taxes*
-Buyers are responsible for any applicable customs and import taxes.
-I am not responsible for any delays due to customs.

*Care instructions*
Each listing should include care instructions for applicable items. You can also see some of those care instructions here:
-Hats. Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Lay flat to dry. Do NOT machine wash or put in dryer. If hat has a pom-pom, do not submerge in water while washing.
-Baby Blankets. Machine was with cold water setting, on delicate setting, with a mild detergent. Tumble dry low.
-Clothing Items. Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Lay flat to dry. Do NOT machine wash or put in dryer.
-Decorations. Spot clean with a clean cloth and cold water.
