Dyeing yarns and fibres, knitting, crochet, spinning and playing with beads....heaven!
This all started with a knitted vegan tea cosy for sale. Until then I was unaware of Etsy and oh my, what delight it was to discover this handmade haven in our man made world! My mother had taught me to knit when I was about 6. As she was left handed I have no idea how she managed to teach me, but thanks to her it started a lifelong fibre passion.
I've always loved making things and still enjoy trying different crafts (some of them badly) but I really love yarn and all things fibre and woolly. My other weakness is obviously beads.
After starting to knit lace patterns I realised just how important stitch markers are. As I had already had a brief flirtation with making jewellery, it seemed a shame to let all those beads snooze in their boxes, they should be put to work!
I'm so lucky that is my full time job, working at home in my studio or outside in the garden in the summer usually with a cat audience. I design and make all the markers myself and try to make them practical as well as pretty as there is nothing worse than a marker catching in your yarn.
I also delight in dyeing yarns and fibres for knitting and spinning. The endless combinations of colours keep me entranced for hours.
I pride myself on my customer service. Items are mounted on a display card, and gift wrapped by me, accompanied by a hand written note.
Internet selling can be very cold and impersonal and I want to try and make you feel valued as a customer as if you'd walked into a shop. I mainly hang out on Instagram but you can also find me on Facebook or Ravelry as there is nothing better than seeing my markers on WIP's by others.

I post every day except Saturday and Sunday and bank holidays.
Please understand that my P&P charges include, gift wrapping, time and costs to print and process orders, travel to the post office, mailing bag and postage!
Shipping to North America can take anywhere from 8-28 days it would seem from feedback received. I do not use a tracked service but you may request one.
If you would like a tracked service please convo me before ordering.
Please be aware you may have to pay customs duty in countries other than the UK as I am obliged legally to fill in a customs form with correct information.
Additional policies and FAQs
All items are made and packed by me so I know it's been done right. If you would like a custom order please contact me, as I like a challenge. All markers are made to fit an approx maximum of 5.5mm US 9 needle, but as long as I have the beads in stock I can make them to fit much larger or smaller needles....just ask!
If you run a yarn club or knitting group and would like bespoke markers on a regular basis please enquire about my wholesale rates.
All images have been taken by me and are copyrighted. Please do not use them without my permission...just ask..... I don't bite! Please feel free to be inspired by but please do not copy my designs, it's not nice.
Privacy and Data Protection
I take your privacy and protection of your data very seriously. I do not sell or share any of your data. Ever.
When you purchase items your data is processed securely via Etsy payments or PayPal. The only information I keep is that which is relevant to sending you your item and for my accounting purposes.
Privacy
When you place an order from me, I will receive your name, delivery address and email address from Etsy. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order. If you send me a message using the contact button on Etsy, I will receive your username and email address.
The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:
• With Etsy to comply with my obligations.
• With delivery companies to fulfil your order.
• To comply with legal or tax obligations.
I will only retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for six years. After this time I will delete your data from my records.
