About

Art made the old fashioned way.

Everything in The Crafty Hag's shop is hand made by one artist, Coralette Damme.
Coralette earned a BFA from the University of Nebraska and is known as The Crafty Hag. She has developed a broad following for her hand pulled block prints which are easily recognized for their bold, graphic style. Drawing from natural, mythical, and German Expressionist influences, she blends strong colors, heavy outlines, and a quirky sense of humor into her images. She uses her artwork as a medium for sharing her sense of wonder about the physical and mystical world.

Coralette creates work in a small spare room without a printing press or fancy digital gadgetry. Block printing has a high risk endeavor as there is no erase and no undo, just plan, cut, print, experiment, and see what happens. Coralette uses a lot of "What If" thinking and continually tries to find new ways to inspire and manifest wonder. Dirty hands, messy desk, happy heart.

Buy art, it lasts forever.

I'm a print maker, painter, and seeker of answers. I believe in analog and old fashioned gut level sense to do the right thing, which comes out in my art and in the way I run my business. Occult just means unknown. Let's explore and get to knowing.

Hello! Thanks for taking time to look over my shop! Visit me on facebook or at www.craftyhag.com for events and opportunities to see the crafty hag's products in person! Everything I offer in my etsy shop is made by me, many items are one of a kind so rest assured knowing your selection is unique and original and carefully hand crafted.

Please feel free to contact me with ANY questions, for custom designs, with shipping concerns, etc.

Please note: I will consider custom requests but only accept them as my schedule permits. My work is hand printed, not computer generated, so making an item in a different color isn't as simple as point and click.

The Crafty Hag is proud to be a member of Team FEST, Printsy, and EtsyDarkTeam. FEST is the Florida Etsy Street Team, Printsy is the team for Printmakers of Etsy, and EtsyDarkTeam is the Etsy Dark Side Street Team. Search for Team FEST to find other FL made items, search Printsy to find hand printed art cards etc. from all around the world, and search EtsyDarkTeam to find those unusual sometimes creepy things you can't live without!

All art created by the crafty hag is posted under copyright and is not allowed to be reproduced for any reason at any time.

Payment
I accept all forms of payment. If you care to send a check I will hold shipment until check clears from my bank. I ship within 48 hours of funds having landed in my account.
I am pretty open to payment options so please don't hesitate to ask if you have a preferred method.
Shipping
Insurance is available at extra cost, please let me know if you would like your item shipped with insurance. Some listings have insurance included in the shipping price (usually fragile or delicate items that I refuse to ship uninsured) but please be aware, unless it says "ships insured" in the item listing, it won't. Once it leaves my hands and is in custody of a federal agent, I am not responsible for loss or damage so let me know if you want the insurance. Most items ship 1st class or parcel post. If you need rush/priority shipping let me know as that may result additional charges. I do my very best to get your items out to you as fast and inexpensively as I possibly can. THANKS
Refunds and Exchanges
the only refund or exchange opportunity is if the item you receive is not the item listed, shown, and described

I try to maintain the highest level of quality of items leaving my studio, if something should slip past me that is clearly from poor workmanship (i.e. pillow seam not sewn shut) I will gladly accept that back to repair or refund. Return shipping is at the expense of the buyer. Items damaged in shipping, i.e. bent prints, will not be refunded unless the buyer has requested and paid for shipping insurance.

Sometimes special circumstances merit special consideration so if you have a problem, question or concern please ask so we can come to a proper solution.
