Announcement   My primary products here are leather journals which have evolved over time to become high quality, unique and durable items. I am currently offering both lined and plain paper journals. I also make bags. wallets. pouches, belts etc depending on my creative feeling. Northern Thailand Hmong hilltribe textiles have also become a feature of my work, which mixed with leather, really does tantalize those creativity tastebuds!

All edges are cut by hand, every hole is individually punched and each stitch has been hand sewn. Some items have been hand dyed and all have been lovingly polished.

I now have new and improved tools for stamping of initials, if you wish to personalize your journal, which I am currently offering free of charge on ALL journals, for up to four initials!

Shop policies

Hello there and thank-you for taking time to read my shop policies.

I hope that they answer any potential questions or smooth over any conflicts. I see this as an opportunity to protect both yours and my rights as a Buyer/Seller. Forgive me if it all sounds negative, I just want to be clear of any potential issues. I am a full time mother with a five year old and a 3 month old and I try my best to offer high quality and durable journals and items. This is why I use real photos with real backgrounds so you can see the journal/item just as it is. I don't use any kind of software or photoshop for this. I believe that their natural beauty is enough to make them appeal to the right Buyer.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
All payments need to go via Paypal. Paypal help you if you have an account, credit card or Echeques. I can only send the item once the payment has been cleared by Paypal.

Any cancellations need to be made immediately (within 24hurs) as I send the journals out quite quickly so message me if there is a problem asap.
Shipping
All items that are 'Ready to ship" will be shipped within 48hours of receiving that order.

I deliver only via Airmail which is registered and can be monitored via www.thailandpost.co.th until it leaves Thailand, and after via the national postal service for that country, eg America is USPS

Please ask me for a tracking number as I only give them out on request.

I really cannot help things if the postal system of any country is running slower than usual, please understand this. For example over Christmas period or Graduation time in any country the postal system may be slightly slower.

As only a rough guide I state on every order at the bottom that this item will take 2xweeks for delivery (3xweeks fr the US).

My shipping costs are acknowledged to be a little high and a little slow. But that is because I live in the far north of Thailand. As a result I try to keep the cost of the journals as low as I can.

All customs and tax issues are the responsibility of the Buyer but I have shipped over 300 journals and have never had any issues with this.
Refunds and Exchanges
I can only offer a refund if the item arrives damaged. I will give you a full refund but will need you to send the item back to me, return shipping costs to be paid for by the buyer.

I cannot refund any items purchased which the buyer believes to be different to the photos / not what they expected / has marks or scratches on the leather. I will never send a journal or item out sub-standard. All leather has natural groves, wrinkles, spots but these are all helping to build character in the leather and shows the humanity in it. Handmade items are never totally perfect, if this is what you require then best buy something machine made. I will never send out an item that is 'ugly' there has to be trust in my ability as a craftsman. It can be seen from my feedback that I have high standards.

If a journal is lost then we will need to find out where it was lost, if the tracked item is stated to be delivered by the local postal service and you don't have it I cannot give you a refund or be responsible for this. If the item is genuinely lost in the post then I am happy to refund or replace the item.

If an item is delivered but Unclaimed and Returned to sender then as long as I have sent it to the stated address, it will be the Buyer's responsibility to Pay for the re-shipping prior to me shipping it out again. I hope that sound fair.
