Working on some new products. Image transfers onto wood blocks. Photograph was taken by myself in Milwaukee.
I currently use Miss Mustard Seed Milk paint and Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.
When you don't have much indoor space, improvise and have an outdoor photo shoot.

A little bit rustic, a little bit industrial, dash of girly; all unique.

I started the Crafty Llama by Lonie on as a way to allow my creative juices to flow and a (big) nudge from my brother Greg.

What started out as little blog back in 2013 for my crafty projects for my house and recipes soon became too much for my small place. I wish I could keep everything I've made, but I can't. From there, I was asked by friends and family members to make gifts for bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays. It was about a year and a half into my journey that Greg suggested that I try to sell things I've made.

Being creative is a much needed break from my day job, which is very logical and right brained. With my crafts and creations, I get to channel my creative side.

I like to mix classic staples, cozy furniture, industrial elements, and unexpected pops of color and patterns, in my personal space. My goal is to bring a little of my personal style to my designs and create things I would love to have in my home. I create and sell items I would love to have in my home. Who am I kidding, I have a few of my own creations in my hosue

I hand paint my designs, using my favorite paints from Miss Mustard Seed and Annie Sloan to get that “perfect” distressed look.

My designs are little labors of love. Each is different that the last and no two are exactly the same. I strive to make pieces that you’ll love too.

I live live in Green Bay, Wisconsin with my fur babies, Boots -the cat, and Luna - the pup. When I’m not hunting for new finds, or working on new designs, I’m working on projects around the house, out practicing my photography, spending quality time with family or cheering on the Green and Gold or the Blue and Gold.

What Paints do you use?

My signs are painted using high quality paints. Currently I use paint from Fusion Mineral Paint, Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint, Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, and Country Chic Paint paint lines.

Returns

I will accept returns on a case-by-case basis, or if the item arrives damaged. Please contact me within 3 days of receiving your item (of 14 days if in Europe). If the item is received damaged, I require photos showing the damage. PLEASE NOTE: the buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs. If I approve a return, I will refund the cost of the item, minus the initial shipping cost within 24 hours of me receiving the package back.

What boxes do you use?

I try to find the box that matches the size of the items I ship as close as possible. My items are heavy and can be large, so If I can't find a box that will fit, I will make one. Some items may not come in a box, but are securely wrapped for shipping. this helps cut the shipping cost down, but still allows for your item to be protected during shipping.
