About

I make smiles, not just creatures.

My store started when I wanted to be an artist and college fell flat for me. I felt that my time in college was wasted, why was I making what my teachers told me to make?? Most of the time it felt silly to be paying someone for the schooling that I felt like I didn't need.
I dropped out of college and kept working my part-time job. Well I wanted a way to sell and market what I wanted to do, and Etsy was the perfect thing to use. I worked at Starbucks and tried cutting back on my working hours to concentrate more on art. It worked for a little while but I still felt like what I wanted wasn't moving fast enough. I didn't want my art to just be a hobby.
What really brought to light all of this was my recent accident of breaking my ankle. The injury gave me time to think about what I really wanted and to think about what would happen if I just went back to my part-time job.
I put my two-week notice in and left it to work for my dream. To create art and bring smiles to everyone.
I know my figures bring smiles and excitement because I recently went to my first craft-fair to test popularity and prices. Each time someone would stop to gaze at my table of cuteness a smile would slowly manifest upon their face. Children's eyes would get super big and mothers said, "Don't touch!".
Etsy is a wonderful for anyone wanting to test a small business .

Additional policies and FAQs
All of my creations are made with polymer clay, and have a polyurethane coating to seal and protect them from sunlight. Some do have wire or aluminum foil in them for added support. I do not use any paints on the clay, all the colors are pre-mixed by me.
The glass jars that I use are entirely food safe, however the clay part can be delicate and I do NOT recommend using in a dishwasher or microwave. Hand washing is important and the only way to clean the jars, but don't be afraid to use water on the clay parts. Just be gentle and don't use harsh cleaning chemicals, soap and water is safe.
