Design - Develop - Share

It was way back when my interest in making things began. I vividly recall making paper dolls from expired Montgomery Ward, Spiegel, Sears, and JCPenny catalogs, Barbie doll clothes from remnant fabrics, doll chairs and sofas from empty Quaker Oats containers and Kleenex boxes, along with making fancy (I thought so) doll hats from egg cartons and torn panty hose which stretched nicely over a cardboard shell as a tie! It was a thrill for me to be inventive with limited materials at that time.

So here I am, in my retirement after decades of service in corporate America and fully engaged in doing what I enjoy most designing, developing, photography, and sharing my creations with you.

I also do my best to respond to all emails and requests within a few hours. I work very hard to deliver excellent customer service and ensure all customers are happy with my creations. Thank you for your appreciation of Crafty Wanda's handmade creations and supporting my small USA business.

All items in my store are handmade with loving care in my smoke and pet free sewing studio. As customer service is my ultimate goal to create products that will exceed customers expectations, I create my products from quality fabrics and yarns with special attention to detail. You will find a variety of items in my store that range from doll clothes for popular American Girl and other 18" dolls, kitchen linens, handbags, ipad/tablet cases, crocheted hats, scarfs, and much more. Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
As I diligently apply professionalism in the creation of my products, and expect complete customer satisfaction, please contact me immediately via Convo with any concerns or issues with an order.

Crafty Wanda is not liable for any lost packages.

If you feel that there has been any misrepresentation of an item, contact me within two days of receipt of the item to determine concern.

An approved refund of any sort will not be applied until Crafty Wanda receives the item as it was shipped and within seven days of purchase. No refunds of initial shipment fees will be applied. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.

If an item arrived damaged, and you incurred cost of shipping insurance up to specified amount, that amount will be provided by USPS excluding original shipment fees.

All CUSTOM requests are FINAL at the time of purchase. No Refunds or exchanges are applicable.

Payment
PayPal is the preferred method of payment.

Master Card, Visa, American Express or Discover are accepted as payment at checkout.

E-checks via PayPal are accepted with a shipping delay of 3 - 5 days until purchasers payment has processed and cleared.
Shipping
All orders will ship First Class via United States Postal Service (USPS) up to 13 ounces with tracking and delivery confirmation. Packages over 13 ounces will be shipped Priority Mail via USPS.

Buyers will receive a shipping notification via email with expected delivery date, USPS tracking number and shipment date.

Crafty Wanda is not liable for lost or damage packages once they have been shipped.

Any shipping and handling fee that exceeds $2 over actual amount, a refund of that overage will be issued to process the day of shipment. Full refund may take 3 to 5 business days.

If buyer elects to expedite shipment or upgrade, please contact me via Etsy convo PRIOR to purchase to create upgraded listing and adjustment of shipment fees appropriately.

Shipments sent outside of the United States country EXCLUDE USPS tracking number as this service is not available at this time.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom Requests Policy

1. Custom requests may incur an initial setup fee based on based on availability of requested materials in inventory, design time, construction, communication and consultation time (i.e. number of emails, photos, fabric selection, etc.) to discuss and finalize request.

2. Each aspect of a request will be documented via convo/email along with a custom listing for customer to review finished item prior to purchase.

3. Any changes, depending on level of time, design, materials on hand, number of emails/communication, during and after completion, may impact final cost. For instance, a requested item with an exchange of 5 or more emails to confirm request will impact final costs.

4. All custom requests are final at time of sale.

5. Custom request(s) not purchased FIVE days after notification of completed item, will become available for public purchase. Consideration to waive or extend the after five day notification period must be approved by shop owner prior to or on the fifth day after custom listing was sent to customer.

6. If there is an item you like and may desire it in a different fabric, please contact me and DO NOT purchase that item with expectation of an exchange in in a different color or a different item. A purchased item not wanted for whatever reason, must be returned, and a full refund will be applied upon receipt of an unused and in condition received.

7. Depending on time of year and volume of work in progress as received, my turnaround time is usually 1 - 3 business days.

Thank you in advance for understanding that availability of inventory, materials, design time, communication exchange time, and construction do involve additional costs to fulfill custom requests.
