What can I say that hasn't been said already? I've had my large Hobbes for a little over a week now, and everyone I know who even has a passing familiarity with the comic has recognized him instantly and been highly impressed. You really do have to see this plush in person - he's just spot-on! By far my favorite thing about him, however, is how incredibly soft and squeezable he is. I expected to keep him on display most of the time, but I've actually taken to cuddling him when sleeping. Given that Hobbes is, first and foremost, a child's toy, I'd say his huggable-ness is what really makes this plush perfect. Bottom line: If you want a Hobbes that accurately matches his "real" form, yet truly is a toy and not just another "collectible," you won't go wrong with Laurie.

I ordered Hobbes as a baby shower gift for my sister-in-law. My husband's parents couldn't believe someone had actually made this by hand - the craftsmanship and attention to detail are just that impressive. On top of that, he's clearly built to last and incredibly soft. All in all, he's definitely one of the best gifts I've ever given. My sister-in-law says he's very cute :)

If you are a Calvin & Hobbes fan, this item is a must buy! The detail and the workmanship is super. I love the size, the material used, its just child-friendly and comfy. Would absolutely recommend this shop.
