Strange worlds and odd machines.

My name is Ben. I am an artist, animator and illustrator based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

I have been making art with paints and pencils for many years, with public exhibitions in Sweden and abroad. I also make digital 2d animations, illustrations and poster art. I like to work with a colourful, painterly style, using expressive strokes, textures and colours to emphasise the hand made feel and give the illustrations a vibrant analogue quality. I also like working with details when I think they are needed and add humorous and unexpected elements.

I like to make images that explore strange worlds and odd machines. I am especially interested in synths for their human-machine interaction. I also like to depict fake landscapes, grand interiors and unruly nature in my work.

Frequently asked questions
Will the posters last?

Yes they should last a long long time. All the posters are giclée prints on acid free paper with archive quality pigment inks. Keep them out of direct sunlight and preferably behind glass to ensure the greatest longevity.

How are they packed?

I quality control each poster and carefully roll them in craft paper and put them in a 7cm diameter sturdy cardboard tube. The wide tube helps to reduce paper curling. I recommend that you let the poster rest flat for a day to get rid of the paper curl before hanging or framing.
