Born to be in business...
Hello, and thank you for wanting to learn more about me!
I was lucky enough to be raised by a strong, independent woman who is also an entrepreneur, so I knew early on I wanted to work for myself. And that became even more true after having my daughters. So I started my first business in the Internet dark ages; 1997! During that time I helped small and home-based business owners create a branded, cohesive marketing strategy for their businesses on the web with graphic and web site design.
But at a certain point I realized something was missing, so in 2007 I decided to go back to school and pursue my love of art. I'd been making and selling my art online, here and there, before that. But I really wanted to step it up a notch (or ten!) I started selling my art on Etsy in 2009 (my fine art shop can be found here: http://julestillman.etsy.com) as well as in shows and galleries. It fills me with happiness knowing my art is in homes around the world.
This shop really is the lovechild of these two passions of mine:
art and entrepreneurialism.
