Thank you for reviewing our store policies. Wood 'n Wool is operated by a husband-wife duo with a passion for serving the fiber arts. We believe our policies are fair and are always willing to work with people on all aspects of the shop including price of a single item, sales, shipping, payment, and returns. The policies are in place as a means to have something to rely on when there is question or doubt of what should be done as a default.

We are very "conversation friendly" so please, do not hesitate to contact us with any questions, comments, or concerns.

PayPal is the only payment method for Wood 'n Wool. If you would like to make payment via check or money order, please contact us prior to purchase. Each payment request outside of PayPal payments will need to be handled on a case by case basis (more positive feedback makes your request more likely to be accepted).

We expect payment to be made within 3 days after purchase. If we have not received payment in that timeframe, or some communication regarding payment, then we will contact you. If you do not respond within 24 hours, the order will be cancelled and the item relisted.
IMPORTANT: I am currently only shipping to Canada and the United States. If a purchase is made by someone in another country, I will reject the sale. If you are in another country and want to buy, please contact me first. I will made special considerations but shipping will need negotiated.

Shipping is to be paid by the buyer prior to shipment. All items will be shipped in appropriate shipping material, depending on the item. The Seller will do her best to ensure the item arrives in top condition.

I ship once a week (Saturday). Your order will be shipped the first Saturday after payment is received. If you need to make a special arrangement, please contact me. If I receive payment after Friday at 9pm EST, that item most likely will ship the following Saturday.

The shipping fees will be higher than the actual cost. The shipping fees on each item covers shipping and handling costs, including the materials needed to mail the items.

Most items will be shipped using regular ground mail; however, I retain the right to adjust this based on the buyers location. Anything large enough to require freight or international shipments will have to have shipping arrangements made.

All paintings will be insured; however, not all non-painting items will be insured. if you want guaranteed insurance on your non-painting item, do let me know.
Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds and exchanges are not made for this shop, excluding paintings.

If there is a problem with an item that is not a painting, do contact me. The above statement will hold true for the majority of requests; however, I understand customer service is important to any shop. If you have a true need to return or exchange an item, do ask - I will handle each request on a case by case basis. Any request would need to be made within 30 days of purchase (payment received date).

PAINTING SPECIFIC POLICY (not applicable for posters/prints):
If you are wanting to return a painting (perhaps you don't like it - which is fine!) - We can talk.
(1) You must contact me within 5 days after receiving the painting with your desire to return it. If it has been more than 5 days since you received the painting, I will not accept a return.
(2) If you do contact me within 5 days of receiving the painting, I will refund the full cost of the painting, not shipping and handling, provided that the painting is received in the SAME condition that it was originally sent.
(3) Return shipping cost is responsibility of the buyer.
(4) I do not do exchanges for paintings.

I do value my feedback and want us to both have a great experience.
Additional policies and FAQs
I do custom orders; however, you must give me ample time to complete them, especially crochet pieces. If you have a custom painting you would like, do contact me - I may not be able to do it if it is outside of my time frame or artistic style.
