our story - art with heart
About the prints: creative monsoon artworks are printed on high quality acid free photo paper, usually matte or on canvas. The professional pigment inks used are extremely bright and vibrant. Prints are unframed. Sizes are available in inches or cms.
About the artist: A friendly lion with a multi-coloured mane. A kangaroo blowing kisses. The moon surrounded by stars, or a cloud with rainbow raindrops: Whatever the subject matter, artist, illustrator and designer Jennifer Bell’s colourful creations have been inspiring and bringing joy all over the world since 2008.
After graduating university with a degree in fine art, Jennifer went on to study graphic design that led to a career art directing around the world in the publishing industry. During four years spent in New Zealand she ran her own art gallery in the picturesque Wellington suburb of Island Bay and today continues to work as a full time independent artist from her sunny Queensland studio.
It was the arrival of a baby boy that took Jennifer’s work in a new direction. Motherhood brought with it a ton of inspiration and desire to create a range of colourful art and fun illustrations for children. In the years since starting creative monsoon, Jennifer has produced hundreds of colourful illustrations that have decorated walls from Iceland to Africa.

Can you customise colours?
Yes! I can customise the colours for any of the kids prints in my store. (sorry not the fine art prints) Just send me a message through Etsy and we can provide a quote and set up a custom listing for you.
Can you add my child's name to a print?
Yes, any of my kids prints can be customised with the addition of your child's name and birth stats for example. Just send me a message through Etsy and we can provide a quote and set up a custom listing for you.
I found a set of prints in your store, but I want to swap one in the set for another print in your store. Is this possible?
Yes! As long as the print you want to swap is the same price, just mention which prints you'd like to swap round in the comment box during checkout

What is the process for a personalised order?
If a item shows on the listing it can be personalised there will be a box to leave your details. Once the order is received I will email a proof for you to look over. I will wait two days for a reply, send a reminder notice, then your order will be printed and shipped.
If a listing makes no mention of personalisation please contact me for a quote with information on what you'd like to change.
