The Art Deco Inspired New Year’s Eve Party Hat never arrived. The product was ordered the third week of November. I corresponded with the merchant via email and she confirmed the order and confirmation of payment. Although I had had read the reviews about poor communication and consistent failure to meet customer expectations I felt her response was heartfelt and she had recommitted herself to her business. I was hopeful until 5PM on 12/31/14. No delivery was made prompting me to scramble for backup decorations for a table centerpiece. I had sent 2 emails requesting information about my order and she made the choice not to respond. Do not waste your time with the crepe confectionary. Her products are lovely but her business practices are unprofessional and dishonest.

E - I deeply regret that I was unable to provide you with a better experience; admittedly, I am struggling to maintain work here as I pursue a new career path for myself. I do pride myself in providing a quality product, as well as a pleasant and reliably customer service experience. I failed her with you because illness took me out for a number of weeks. You will receive a full refund, I assure you. In addition, please accept my deepest apologies, my intention was never to leave you in a lurch, nor give you a less than stellar experience. Your feedback is deeply regrettable, but appreciated. I wish you and yours a wonderful 2015!

i have always felt connected to old things...old homes, old books, old objects. i love that these things have history, and a story. i find my greatest inspiration in pieces and objects that have been well loved and tended to. my pieces are all dreamt up in my own head, and brought to life with my own hands. that means that every single piece is made with passion, soul, and attention to detail.
my creative drive comes from wanting to imbue each of my pieces, and those who will enjoy them, with that feeling of connection and joy that comes from respecting something that has been around a little longer than it should, just because someone loved it...my wish is the same for each of my creations -- that they become a cherished treasure for years to come!
Accepted payment methods
at this time, i accept only paypal. i begin your order only once your transaction is complete. at present, my turnaround time is one week, which means that from the time your transaction is complete to the time it is shipped is ONE WEEK.
if payment is not received within 48 hours, i will cancel your transaction. however, i will contact you prior to cancellation.
items that require PRIORITY OR EXPRESS DELIVERY will be adjusted for the increased shipping rate. i will do my best to find the most cost effective shipment rate for you, and i will adjust your transaction cost accordingly.
CUSTOM ORDERS require up to 2- 4 weeks production time, and this includes any modifications in size, color, and design of any item currently for sale in the shop.
SPECIAL ORDERS require up to 3 weeks (or more) production time, and are SUBJECT TO A 15% DESIGN FEE. special orders are defined as any request for design of a brand new item, one that must be designed and that we collaborate on. PLEASE NOTE that this fee covers time and monies spent on the new design of your special item(s), and is NON-REFUNDABLE.
if your item is required by a certain date, please contact me prior to your purchase to be certain that i can accomodate your request.

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES:
if for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact me within 7 days of receiving your item(s). i am happy to refund, exchange, or issue store credit (full refund less shipping costs) ONLY if the item is returned to me in its original condition. returns must be received within 14 days of you receiving it. The Crepe Confectionary is not responsible for return shipment costs.
if your item(s) are received in a “damaged” condition, please contact me within 3 days of receipt, so that i may repair, replace, or refund the item(s). PLEASE NOTE that this decision is solely at my discretion.
ALSO PLEASE NOTE THAT CUSTOM ORDERS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
i will always welcome any inquiries as to the source of my materials, as well as any concerns over longevity of the item in question. however, please remember that with time, crepe paper fades, glass glitter tarnishes, and vintage embellishments only become 'more vintage'. this timeworn patina is part of what makes my pieces grow more and more charming with age.
