An Air Force wife by trade, a farmgirl at heart

Growing up on an Illinois farm among the corn and wheatfields, I learned the value of working hard and making the most of what you have. My dad, in particular, has always been my inspiration for "doing it yourself". He is forever fixing, building, designing for himself--he is truly a jack-of-all-trades, as a small business owner needs to be. Growing up, we made so many things from scratch. My mom and I made our own clothes, we canned our own tomatoes and pickles from our garden, we knitted and crocheted. My dad built our house himself from the ground up, and as a young girl I loved to help him whenever I could. Now I am proud to bring that ingenuity and creativity to my own shop, offering you the best of my upbringing in my quality craftsmanship and design.

I have put in hundreds of hours researching and creating to bring you the highest quality soaps and lotions using non-gmo organic ingredients with minimal processing and maximum skincare quality. And although the Air Force moves our family frequently, that craftsmanship is always constant. I love to create handmade items from organic materials and deliver them to your doorstep so that you can create your own handcrafted atmosphere in your home.

Why are we a bath company for LIFE? One of the reasons I started my company was to contribute to my community. One organization, International Justice Mission (IJM), holds my heart for their willingness to go into the hard places of people's lives to bring them hope. Custom and personalized orders

I would love to create a custom order for you! If you're planning a special occasion (birthday, baby shower), contact me and I can help you with party favors or other special gifts. I can also custom order gift baskets.

Care instructions

I make cold process and hot process soap. This, in a nutshell, means that I make a lye solution and oil solution and marry them together using a process called saponification. This makes you very happy because you get an amazing bar of soap that will treat your skin with love!

This soap will last longer if exposed to air between uses. This means leaving it in the open versus storing it in a soap box. And don't throw away those little ends of soap! They meld very nicely to your next new bar just by pressing them together. No need to waste any part of this luscious soap!

My organic washcloths are very durable. They will last longest if either washed by hand or in the gentle cycle of the washer. Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Each bar of handmade soap comes ready to give away, in beautiful floral tissue paper. Upon request, I will be happy to gift wrap any of my items in floral paper. Soaps and lotions make perfect gifts (and are also wonderful to keep for yourself!)

Sizing details

Do I measure by weight or by volume? It depends on the product. Soap is measured in ounces by weight. All of my soaps are a generous 5.5 oz by weight. That is a great value, compare this to other handmade soaps! My lotions and scrubs are measured in volume. I like to fill up the container with my skin loving lotion!

Do I sell and ship to the EU?

The laws regarding the import of bath and beauty products to any country in the EU are very strict. At this time, we are not able to sell or ship ANY bath or beauty product to any person residing in the EU.
