Put them on in the car on my way home from work and wore them all night, even around the house. It just happened to get cold in Texas the day they arrived! Thanks so much for making my pretty pink panda ears!

Super cute! I was a polar bear for Halloween this year and these ears were fantastic!
I like to make cute things for cute people to feel cute in!
Once upon a time, my Meirma taught Tiny Me me how to crochet. She had this super old yarn in a beautiful rose blend, and I learned to make chains and granny squares. She got sick and was away for about half a year. I was having severe Grandma Withdrawels, so I took a crochet class at the craft store and learned a bit more. (And soaked in the warm cookie grandma atmosphere that I really was missing!)
Fast forward to me discovering Japanese Street Fashion through the first Fruits book. I was also really inspired by the children's vintage earwarmers that I found in my '50's Sears catalogue. I wanted to make something cute of my own, and created an awful prototype version of my B*earWarmers for myself, and stayed up all night on Christmas Eve to make a frog coloured set for my little sister. It took me a LONG time back then! We wore them to Christmas dinner and our aunt freaked out about how cute they were and said that I should sell them... and after improving the design (quite a bit) that's just what I did!
I love that all kinds of different people like my B*earWarmers. Grown women and men, casual cosplayers, Halloween costume requests (Care Bears and the Bad Idea Bears), Furries, and people who don't usually dress quirky who just wanted something cute for a skiing trip or for bike riding.
The Rainbow scarves came after that, and I was very careful to come up with my own design for them that wasn't copying any of the existing rainbow scarves I'd ever seen before. Then, a sweet customer had an awesome idea: what if I combined the earwarmers with the scarf? So there was my RainboWarmer!
That's about it. The Grand Tale of a Few Crocheted Items!
My Meirma taught me how to crochet <3 I love animals, dolly stuff, bright colours, gardening, sewing, pets, and collecting beautiful vintage fabrics. I sing and make music videos, too.
