I love this stitch. It always produces straight sides and it doesn't curl. Thanks!

About

From simple beginnings ...

In the early 1980s I learned to crochet. Shortly after that, I met a wonderful man who encouraged my love of the craft and whose occupation was in the computer industry. With his help I eventually created a small web site which included crochet information. I was excited to share my love of crocheting in this "new" world of the Internet. As I learned new things, I shared them with my visitors. Sometimes I would be asked to add certain things or asked a question that inspired me to do so.

It soon became apparent that the site had outgrown free hosting and I purchased a domain name and hosting space. A complete overhaul of the site, incorporating more of the popular video instruction, went online in 2012.

Occasionally, I would be asked about the patterns I used to make the items that were pictured on Crochet Cabana. Because I also had financial need to keep the site online, I decided to choose a few of my own designs to sell in addition to the free ones I had on site. Thus the Etsy shop was born. These patterns offer a little bit extra, a different stitch, a particularly nice edging, a join I find pleasing to the eye.

I hope you enjoy your time here. Thanks for stopping by.
