Playful, elegant, feminine crochet.

Crochet Kitten's Bazaar is where my love for crocheting and belly dancing unite and allow me to fund both interests. It gives me the flexibility to stay home with my daughter while contributing to the household. And it also gives me the ability to help influence social change, as I constantly strive to offer products with sustainability, fair trade, and natural materials in mind.

If you wish to learn how to crochet or how to take your crochet to the next level, be sure to visit my main website, Crochet Kitten is dedicated to spreading the love of crochet and teaching it to the world. My patterns reflect the interests of the household, primarily belly dance, fashion, geekery, and pets. And since I know how expensive being a parent can be, all of my patterns for children and babies will always and forever be offered for free.

You may also know me as The Animator's Wife. I learned the art of crochet from my aunt in 1996 and have been belly dancing since 2003. These two loves unite in Crochet Kitten's Bazaar, which affords me to stay home with my daughter, Little Lovely.

3. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.

1. I do not offer refunds on patterns or pattern books once they have been downloaded or shipped.
2. I do not offer refunds on orders that have been custom-made to your measurements. Please be sure you want the item before I take the time to make it for you. If it doesn't fit properly, let me know so I can fix it.
HANDMADE ORDERS: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before work begins. This deposit goes toward covering the cost of my materials. The remaining balance must be paid before the finished item ships. (See also my Refund Policy.)

My handling time is 1-3 business days (though I strive for 1 day). For transit time, USPS has handy interactive maps for you to determine how long your package will take to arrive at your address.

For regular shipping, use this map and code 201 as the originating point:

For Priority shipping, use this map and code 20110:

I regret that I can no longer offer international shipping due to the fact that tracking becomes questionable after the package leaves the US border and I cannot guarantee that your package will arrive safely.

If time is of the essence, please let me know so I can ensure speediness. I aim to get orders out the next business day, but I work from home between homeschooling my daughter, so occasionally an order gets delayed a day or two if life gets in the way and I don't know a rush is needed. If you get in touch with me and place your order before noon Eastern time, I can usually get your order in the mail for you the same day.

Use the links to the maps above to determine transit time to your address and add one day to it (unless you've received confirmation from me that I will ship your package the same day). This is the fastest I can get your package to you. If you happen to live in the DC or Baltimore Metros, shipping time with Priority Mail is 1 day.

For your convenience, I offer both regular (First Class) and Priority Mail shipping options. Priority Mail includes up to $100 of insurance for free, in case your item gets lost in the mail. If you are concerned about your item getting lost, please select Priority Mail. I will not be held responsible for items lost in the mail when shipped with the First Class option; choose First Class shipping at your own risk.

Kits and handmade items are sent via Priority Mail by default.
Additional policies and FAQs
If you are having trouble following any of my patterns, please contact me for support. I'm happy to provide free tech support for all of my patterns.

If your order is a gift to be shipped directly to the giftee, please convo me with this information so I don't include an invoice with the order. Gift wrapping is also available for free upon request. I will include a gift tag with a short message from you.

My home studio is also home to cats, dogs, and various small animals. While the studio itself is a pet-free zone, my products may have been exposed to pet hair and dander in transit to and from the studio. Please keep this in mind if you have pet allergies. I do my best to keep the exposure to a minimum.
