I began learning the art of crochet at age nine. I was inspired by my dear Aunt Lucille, she made such beautiful things; I just had to learn! She taught me my first few stitches and gave me a learn to crochet book. I got hooked!!! For the most part I'm a self taught crocheter and designer. I've now been crocheting for over forty years and designing my own patterns for about the last ten.
My dear mom gets all the credit for my sewing skills.
Making beautiful things for my family and friends is so rewarding. My grandchildren, all six of them, truly are my biggest fans. Every time I finish an item, it's rewarding, but seeing the look on that special someones face when they receive my special gift made with love is the greatest reward. I donate items to cancer patients and to the homeless. I've taught a few others how to crochet including my left handed sister. I believe in sharing your talents.
Before Etsy, the only places I sold my items were at craft fairs. It was at a craft fair at my oldest grandsons school a few years back that I learned of Etsy. I came home and checked it out and set up my shop. My avenue to sell my crochet all around the world and from my home! I never would of thought years ago that this would be something I'd be doing. My Aunt Lucille would be proud, I do believe.

Thanks to the parents and photographers that I work with for professional photos for my listings. Thanks to my fans and customers, it is a pleasure for me to make cute and beautiful crochet items for you. My greatest reward and pleasure here is that my customers have a smile on their face when they open their package.
All my crochet items are made by my hands with love; of great quality materials and made to last, for the love of crochet on my end and yours.
I must include thanks to my dear hubby for not getting tired of seeing me crochet so much and for his support and help with other things when I get real busy with crochet orders.
