Announcement
Tigh na Cailleach, or House of the Old Woman, is a little structure in Glen Lyon, Scotland. Eroded rocks representing the Cailleach (Earth Mother, Crone or Old Woman) her husband and children are mysteriously moved outside from Beltane (May 1) to Sahmain (Oct 31) and back inside for the winter. These are the traditional dates for moving the cattle into their summer pastures in the hills and back to the crofts for winter.

Anne Bishop
Writer, Publisher, Bookseller
I am a published writer, but writers’ groups over the years have taught me how many accomplished writers and marginalized voices never get out to readers. Welcome to my tiny bookshop where I sell books from equally tiny Nova Scotia publishers.
