Nature, vintage, trends, old photographs, dreams, textiles...I find inspiration in everything. Every scrap of paper that comes near me ends up covered in scribbled design notes and sketches.

I have loved to draw since I could first hold a crayon, and grew up hand-sewing and embellishing Barbie clothes. As I matured, these hobbies translated to a love of art and fashion. In college I learned patternmaking and professional sewing techniques, and gained a Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design/Development. I enjoyed all of this, but it was at the very end that I discovered my true passion.

During my last semester in college I took a course in machine knitting, and felt a spark. Soon after, I taught myself hand knitting, and fell in love. I haven’t gone more than a day without knitting since! I feel so centered pushing each new stitch off my needles, watching the designs that start deep in my mind take shape in front of me.

Knitwear is such an intimate part of all of our lives. Everyone has that perfect cable sweater that they have cherished for years. Or that soft cardigan that tops off every look. Or that beautiful scarf they always reach for. I love the thought that one of my pieces may become a part of the way you express yourself to the world every day!

I know that I have found my passion in life, and it is creating beautiful knitwear, from the first sketch to the last stitch.
