WELCOME TO CROW CORNER PRIMITIVES!!
CHRISTMAS ORDER CUT-OFF HAS BEEN REACHED! I am at my cut-off date on orders that I can guarantee completion and shipping in time for Christmas! I will continue to work on orders received, however given my current workload, I can't guarantee that they will arrive by Christmas. If ordering for Christmas, please contact me BEFORE placing your order. Thank you!!
These are just a few of my hand-crafted items! I specialize in rustic hand-painted Barn Quilts, primitive signs, painted shaker-style furniture and other primitive home decor. All of my items are handmade BY ME in my barn workshop in rural Wisconsin. I also welcome custom requests! Feel free to email me at crowcornerprimitives [!at] gmail.com and please include a return email address for quicker replies. THANK YOU!
TURNAROUND TIME - ALL OF MY ITEMS ARE ON A "MADE TO ORDER" BASIS! (The 1 LEFT on listings refers to the number on the listing NOT that there is 1 available for immediate shipment.) Please allow at least 3-4 weeks for production and delivery, however it can be 4-6 weeks during busy holiday season! Sometimes it will be sooner, however orders will be filled in the order they were received. I paint the barn quilts in batches (usually 10-15 at a time) and it usually takes roughly 2 weeks from start to completion for a batch. Occasionally, I have items available for immediate delivery, and it will be noted as such at the top of the listing. Please contact me BEFORE placing order if there is a time crunch. Every effort will be made to get your order out in a timely manner, however, sometimes there are delays beyond my control.
RETURN POLICY: Every effort is made to insure my quilts are as pictured, however sometimes things happen, item arrives damaged, colors aren't as expected, etc... IF ITEM ARRIVES DAMAGED customer must take pictures of damage, box and item AND save all packaging, for a claim to be filed with shipping company. Without this information, a claim cannot be filed. I also want customers love my quilts as much as I do, but if customer is dissatisfied with item, I will gladly refund purchase price and shipping upon receipt of returned item. Please note that return shipping will not be reimbursed unless item was damaged upon receipt and claim has been filed. If you have concerns regarding colors, finishes, etc. Please just ask before you purchase!! I want my customers to love my quilts as much as I love making them!! Thanks!

Crow Corner Primitives is a One-Woman Workshop!
I started in wood-working about 30 years ago, by having an annual craft show in the fall with my mom. Starting with just a little band saw and a scroll saw, I cut out, painted and assembled all items myself. It didn't take long for it to morph into building shaker-style furniture, and even though the tools got bigger, I still did all the work myself. I always told people that I got my talent for working with wood from my grandfather! (The cleaning up my workshop and putting my tools away, came from my grandmother!!)
Originally from Iowa, I spent many years working in the banking/accounting fields, but my heart has always been in the workshop. I briefly lived in Lexington, MO, and I had a taste of having my own little retail shop, which is where Crow Corner was born.
I married and relocated to Wisconsin, where we live on a small acreage. My husband loves to help out in the workshop, too, so together we make quite a team! We've set up a workshop in the garage part of the old milk barn and got to work. Now, my husband has started a hobby in melting and casting aluminum! (Look for some of his items to be listed here soon!!) Aside from the workshop, we have chickens (and yes, I built their coop!) and added a garden and now I look forward to the possibility of having my own store here on the property some time in the future. Life is good and the future looks bright for Crow Corner Primitives!!

I have been working with wood for almost 30 years, first dabbling in wood crafts then building custom shaker-style furniture as well. I love the challenge of working on custom pieces and love coming up with new ideas!
