Welcome! Crowns Clothing is an independent label run single-handedly by myself, a full-time student and library assistant from Wellington, New Zealand.

Every garment is handmade by me, and slight variation may occur between garments pictured and those delivered.

I wrap every garment in tissue as if it is a gift, before weather-proofing (if necessary) and mailing in traditional brown paper. Please contact me if you would like a variation on my packaging, or if your purchase is a gift.

Accepted payment methods

  • Other Method
Returns and exchanges
I will provide an exchange or refund if your item is faulty upon shipping, or if it differs from what you reasonably expected (and you can provide proof of this).

I do not accept liability for damages or losses during delivery.
Payment
I accept Paypal for international payment, and will accept a local bank transfer if you are a buyer in New Zealand. Send me a message before you make a purchase to arrange this.
Shipping
Standard shipping is free within New Zealand.
I ship airmail internationally via New Zealand Post. Contact me if you require tracking, insurance etc, as it can get quite expensive.
Please note that buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred.
Additional policies and FAQs
Madeline Cape information:

Capes are made from 100% New Zealand wool vintage blankets. This means that there may be slight variation in the colour of your cape from the one pictured, however I do my best to source blankets as consistently as possible.

Your cape will keep you warm, and should withstand light rain showers. For rainy climates, I recommend treating the cape with Scotchgard or similar before wearing out regularly in the rain.

Madeline capes should be spot cleaned with a gentle detergent. Do not put in the washing machine. Cool iron if necessary.
