Hey there! I just opened my Etsy shop so thanks for stopping by and checking out my work. I'm a big fan on Etsy and connecting with individual artists so I'm excited to join the Etsy family.

About me: I'm a fine art photographer located in the San Francisco Bay Area. I love capturing peaceful moments with my camera and sharing them as images. I spend lots of time hiking in the beautiful bay area and try to capture the feeling of being in nature in my photographs: the smell, the breeze, the feel.

I'm also a commercial photographer specializing in "portraits for promotion: creating definitive portraits for marketing and promotion for artists, musicians, businesses & entrepreneurs. You can view my commerical work here: www.savanphoto.com

Information and details:

Currently all of my listed items are in-stock and ready to ship.

Print availability: I only print on a quarterly basis and only print a couple copies of each print at a time. Many items when they sell will not be available for at least several months so if you see something you like make sure to get it right away.

Watermarks/copyright: If an image on the website includes my logo, rest assured that the image you receive does not include the logo. The logo is only included on the website to help protect the copyright of my images.

Orders of in-stock items are shipped within 3 days of order. If you need an item more quickly than that, please convo me and I can let you know if the item can ship more quickly than that.

Custom orders: I don't offer any custom printings. If you are interested in a print in a different size than is listed, please convo me and I can check on current availability.

Sizes: listed image sizes are the size of the paper. Every image is printed with a white border to allow room for matting.

Print method:
Every print is printed in the studio by me. All prints are signed. All prints are printed using a fine-art giclee process and are printed on the highest quality watercolor paper. I follow a strict archival process and use only archival inks and papers. ( The paper is 100% cotton rag paper which is acid-free and lignin free; the ink is archival pigment inks.) With proper care, the prints can last for over 100 years without fading or discoloration.

Packaging: All un-matted prints are sent in protective plastic sleeve.

Matting: 8.5x11 and 11x17 prints can be matted here in the studio before I ship them to you. Allow several extra days to prepare the matting for you. Matts are custom sized to perfectly fit my images; every prints is beautifully matted so that the edge of the image and my signature is visible. All matts are sized to fit in ready-made frames, so if you purchase a matted print, it will arrive ready to frame.

Matt sizing:
Print size: 8.5x11/ matt size: 12x16
Print size: 11x17/matt size 16x20
Print size: 13x19/ recommended matt size is 18x24
Print size: 17x22/ recommended matt size is 22x28

Framing: Because of the expense of shipping framed artwork, I don't offer framing. However, all of my matted prints are in standard sizes and are ready to frame. Framing is easy: you just buy a ready-made-frame at your local store and the matted image is already sized to fit.
