5 out of 5 starsI love my hairpiece! It shipped on time and came well packaged in a little box. It looks pretty much exactly like the picture - I think there's a little more pink around the edges of some of my flowers and it looks fantastic :) Can't wait to wear it on my wedding day!

Following life's unpredictable lead
Cultivar started as an accident and opened with no plan or expectations. While recovering and bedridden after brain surgery in 2009, I began experimenting with making fabric flowers for my new short haircut. With so much time on my hands, a few flowers quickly turned into a living room full. Once I was able to spend more time off the couch, I threw together a shop and posted a few flowers. It must have been meant to be, since on the second day I landed on the front page, and my first few sales motivated me to make even more. In the years that have followed, Cultivar has evolved immensely and become my full time job.
All of my flowers start with reclaimed or new fabric and are hand cut, hand molded and hand sewn. I am addicted to searching for vintage jewelry, antique lace and romantic supplies to add to my creations. I just love being able to create the perfectly unique piece for a bride to show off on her wedding day and to treasure forever after.
I have been overwhelmed with the love and support I’ve received from my customers. I may work long hours but I find joy in every minute of it. I am incredibly grateful to have my health and to spend every day doing what I love.

Custom orders are returnable within 7 days, less shipping and deposit.
Payment
Shipping
Single bouquets cost $10-25 to ship via USPS Priority mail and this includes tracking and insurance. Each additional bouquet will add about $5-10 to the shipping total. I will ask for an overestimated amount for shipping due with your final payment but I will refund any extra paid once your order ships.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
I am more than happy to ship anywhere in the world. I recommend shipping via Express mail, which is pricier than first class, but it will arrive quickly (1-2 weeks) and this is the ONLY way to get tracking and insurance. If you wish to chance it with first class, you will assume responsibility and loss if something happens during transit.
CANADA: one bouquet, $45-70 for Express
AUSTRALIA: one bouquet, $55-70 for Express
U.K.: one bouquet, $55-75 for Express
EVERYWHERE ELSE: one bouquet, $50-85 for Express
The shipping price does not go up significantly for more bouquets.
First class will be $20-40, but again, it is a gamble I don’t recommend taking.
I will ask for an overestimated amount for shipping due with your final payment but I will refund any extra paid once your order ships.
****Also, some countries require taxes to be paid on items worth over a certain amount. Every country is different and it is the buyer’s responsibility to pay their tax if required. I recommend checking with your local post office or customs to find out if this applies to you before making the decision to place an order.
I will not lie about the worth of any item sent internationally. Not only is this is illegal and can lead to heavy fines, but my buddies at the post office know me and my items and won’t let me misbehave.
Additional policies and FAQs
I absolutely love creating custom designs! You may contact me through the “conversation” feature to discuss possibilities, but please read the following first.
STYLE: First browse through my current listings, as well as sold items, to get a feel for which styles or combinations you would like. Including links to my work or photos of your own when trying to describe what you want is a big help (if you are referring to my work PLEASE include a link, instead of just the title). I’m always willing to design something totally new too!
Please take a look at the "custom order guide" photo album in my website page for a size and price guide -

***I will not replicate other artists work, please do not ask me to. ***
COLOR: I know getting the color right to match your dress or your theme is important, so I will do my very best. Keep in mind that while sending photos help, it cannot guarantee a PERFECT color match because of picture quality and different monitor settings. The ideal way to guarantee a color match would be for you to send a fabric swatch.
PRICING: Pricing can vary due to the different materials I use, the size and how detailed the beadwork is. Being very descriptive and clear with the first convo, will give you a quick and more definite quote.
DEPOSIT: Non-refundable with the exception of some circumstances.
EDIQUETTE:
A lot of time goes into convo’ing, shopping for the perfect color match, and creating each piece. Understand that fabric I buy is not returnable, nor is my time spent.
I try very hard to respond and create in a timely fashion, but keep in mind Cultivar is just me, one gal. If you need something by a certain date, be sure to let me know. If I say it will be done, you can trust it will be.
Please don’t let all these policies overwhelm you! I love custom orders, and am easy to work with, I just have to protect me, my time and my money spent. Thanks!!
