From Lost to Found; Connecting People with Curious Trifles.

Just yesterday I looked at a price tag I wrote out about 4 years ago, and thought how far I have come. My typical process starts at an auction, where I gather the raw and usually dirty Curious Trifle. Once I get the item back at the shop, I short through them, usually wondering "What was I thinking?" Then those items will sit for a few months, as I then work on other finds. Some items will need repair, as others are all ready for photography. Before becoming a seller of vintage treasures, I was a Wedding Photographer, so I do try my best to get 5 different clear views of the product. After the photography phase, I list the item, then I just have to wait for the item to sell. After the item sells, the next step is to ship it, which I do all the packaging and shipping, but out of my new shipping area in my shop. Then I have the USPS come and pick up the items. My goal is to give you a professional experience every step of the way.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
Online Payments

1.a.) All major Credit Cards & Debit Cards are accepted through Etsy's direct checkout option, with no Paypal required.

1.b.) Paypal is not the preferred payment method, but is accepted.

Other Payments

2.) USPS Money orders are accepted. All other money orders, and checks will be returned. Send cash at your own risk.

Local Pickup

3.a.) Listings that advertise Local Pickup, can be paid in the store by Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Checks, & Cash.

3.b.) When payments are made in store, they are subject to certain discounts. (See Additional Information #2)
Shipping
International Shipping

1.a.) Has been added for select countries, while shipping to all other countries are available by quote only. All international packages will take 2 to 6 weeks, and tracking number will likely only work in the USA. Normally Jewelry has a limit of a $200 value import limit. Orders larger then the respective import limit for your country will have to be shipped in separate packages. Faster shipping available.

1.b.) Please send your phone number with order, I have to have it for the US Custom's form.

Domestic Shipping

2.a.) Items will go USPS First Class, Priority, or Parcel Post, depending which ever is cheapest.

2.b.) All items being shipped Domestically that are over $30 will be insured. For items under $25, the buyer bears all responsibility.

2.c.) All items under $25 ship once a week, or may take up to 5 business days to ship.


Freight Shipping

3.a.) Quote from multiple carriers can be acquired from www.uship.com.

3.b.) Greyhound can be used for medium sized irregular items like snow skies, stacking bookcases, etc.

3.c.) Curious Trifles can provide a wood crate service for an additional charge, just request a quote.

Local Pickup

4.a.) When applicable, items may be picked up in the store, which will be listed in the listing if this is available.

4.b.) When payments are made in store, they are subject to certain discounts. (See Additional Information #2)

Shipment Process Time

5.a.) This item is also for sale in a Brick and Mortar Store. I hold the right to cancel this item, or the sale of this item, if item sells in the store before I can pull it. All items below $25 are shipped once a week on Wednesdays. I hold the right to reschedule these orders.

5.b.) I hold the right to reschedule all orders.
Refunds and Exchanges
Return Policy (No International Returns)

1.a.) Buyer has 3 days from delivery to request to return the item for any reason, except for being damaged (see refunds), unless otherwise stated in listing.

1.b.) If approved, than buyer has 3 days from approval date to send seller tracking number via conversations on Etsy, and item must be received within 10 days of original confirmed delivery.

1.c.) Once the Seller receives the item, in original condition free of any damage, the seller will refund the buyer the cost of the item excluding any shipping charges, and a 10% restocking fee.

Refunds (No International Refunds)

2.a.) If item is damaged in shipping, please keep the packaging & all pieces to item, and either provide the seller with images, or the seller will provide the buyer with insurance company information.

2.b.) If the item is damaged, than the buyer has 3 days from delivery to request to start an Insurance Claim.

2.c.) Once the insurance claim is filed, no monies will be refunded until the insurance company approves the claim.

2.d.) For items under $25, the buyer bears all responsibility, but is still expected to send photos of damage of item to seller for possible buy back by seller. If the seller chooses to buy back the damage goods, then the above will apply. (1.b. & 1.c.)
Additional policies and FAQs
1.) I hold the right to cancel any order if item sells at a brick and mortar store before I can pull item. Before I can cancel an order, I must refund your money first.

2.) 20% discount only applies to payment made inside the store. If you are paying through Etsy or with Paypal, even though you plan to pick the item up, no discount will be given. (Current in store sale may be better than advertised 20%)

3.) All items are As-Is, with no express guarantee.

4.) I hold the right to change or modify the Shipping & Policy at anytime.
