Editorial artist with a passion for repurposing vintage print materials.

Curt is an artist and illustrator with a leaning toward the editorial field. Curt Merlo’s editorial illustrations have been seen in the following notable publications:

Wired/ the Washington Post/ the Nation/ Propublica/ The Mckinsey Quarterly / Bloomberg Businessweek / Scientific American / FREE mag / Village Voice / LA Weekly / Ebony/ 5280

His work has also been recognized in the 3x3 Illustration Annual No.8, No.11 and Gestalten’s book Illustration Unlimited. Curt recently finished his first illustrated novel titled Parabolis, a 336 page art novel. Parabolis was published in 2013 by Saboteur Press. Curt's work has also appeared on album covers and in movies.

Living in Southern California, Curt has an affinity for comic books, retro commercialism and anything mid-century. Curt studied painting at the University of California Irvine, but has since developed his career as a digital graphic arts. He makes art blending digital geometry with vintage print materials using a knife, ink, and a mouse. In 2010 Curt constructed this Etsy store as a place to share his work with more than just Art Directors. He has been selling his work on Etsy ever since.

Returns and exchanges
If you are not satisfied with your purchase upon delivery, please message me within 20 days of your order to receive a refund. Refunds are issued after the Item has been returned and is in its original condition. Return shipping expenses are absorbed by the buyer. Refunds are for the full amount of the item minus the shipping cost. What ever the reason I will make sure you are satisfied. I would rather you message me with your concern than harbor any negative feelings inside. No one should have to bare those feeling all by themselves. I am hear to help.
Payment
I accept Paypal and Direct Checkout payments through Esty. Payment is expected when an order is placed. Other forms of payment can be worked out upon request.
Shipping
Art Prints are all rolled in a heavy cardboard tube. Ridged flat shipments are available upon request and at an additional charge.Orders up to five individual pieces are combined into one single shipping tube to cut down the cost.

Orders are always shipped as soon as possible and usually arrive within a week of the ship date. Orders outside the US please allow up to two weeks after the ship date.

Shipments are made twice a week, usually on Tuesday and Friday of every week. Shipments can be expedited and or insured upon request to accommodate your needs. All orders are sent to your Esty address by default unless otherwise stated.

For international shipping the buyer is responsible for any duties, customs and taxes levied by their individual countries.
