I can not remember a time when I wasn't doing something creative or crafty. My mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother were creative and crafty as well. Over the years I watched and "helped" them sew clothes, make quilts, crochet, knit, do macramé, make ceramics, refinish furniture, make wedding cakes, create floral arrangements...

I made my first wreath when I was 8 for a Girl Scout project (my Mother still displays it at Christmas). When one of my sisters got married my Mother and I did everything for the wedding. Everything. It was exhausting but beautiful. It was then I realized I really enjoyed floral design.

I have taken on many hand-crafted projects to give as gifts over the years: Large wreaths where I made the faux evergreen wreath forms by hand, fully decorated small Christmas trees (where I designed the frame and had my husband weld them for me) and then completely decorated them in colors and styles, painting entire snow villages for family and friends (over 100 little houses and shops).

Deco mesh wreaths are the newest wreath designs I have been making. I actually found and bought my first rolls of "designer netting" while Christmas shopping about 15 years ago and up until a few years ago, could not find it again in the retail market. When I did, I bought several rolls and started making deco mesh wreaths. Deco mesh is so fun to use for wreaths, garlands, etc. It's very versatile.

After my store started filling up with wreaths, I realized that I didn't want to have only wreaths in my store. I wanted my store to be like a home decor boutique offering a variety of items that reflect my many different interests (painting, woodworking, floral design...). So I started making personalized Christmas ornaments, custom letters in all sizes, metal flowers, picture frames and other home and garden decor. I enjoy making Custom Created items for customers and I create each project with the same attention to detail as I would if my Mother ordered it.

I can't do this without my husband and business partner Keith. Together we are full-time farmers and part-time home decor hobbyists.

I would like to dedicate this page to my Mother: Mama, Thank you for teaching me so many things, from the Love of the Lord, to the enjoyment of creating things with my own two hands (and to be confident driving a tractor!). You have always been my inspiration, encourager and supporter. I Love you!
