Beautiful earrings! Very delicate. Nicely curve to my face, when wearing.

This apron is high quality and I expect it to last years. The seller was quick to ship and communicated throughout the transaction. Highly recommend.

What a beautifully crafted apron. The detail is amazing. This is exactly what my blacksmith husband has been looking for. Customer service is excellent and shipping was timely. All in all I would recommend this apron to everyone.

Cannot wait to give this apron to my husband at Christmas. The add-ons I asked for were applied with no extra charge. I just wish I hadn’t of unpacked it from the box to have a look at… it was packed perfectly and I can’t recreate it 😆
Well crafted, creative designs dreamed up in the workshop on a little urban farm in Victoria BC.
I started my shop in a burst of creativity on a cold winter's night - choosing a name, writing a profile, listing my first items, signing up for paypal, hanging a banner all in one go during my very first visit to Etsy. Cramped and hunched over the computer next to the woodstove, I felt a thrilling sense that I was taking a leap into a new world. So many years later, I often think back to that brave and totally unplanned foray into the world of online sales and I thank my muses for setting me alight that night with the kind of fevered mousing that can change your world one click at a time.
I like to keep it simple. A workshop at home with a window looking out on the garden, using local sources for leather and hardware as much as possible (I have a great leather supplier who will occasionally drive up to my house with a bunch of new hides in the back of his truck if I haven't been out to see him in a while), and I've often got a batch of preserves going on the stove while I work. It's handy to have the kitchen next to the workshop especially when the busy season of harvest and Christmas production collide! Our house is located in a patch of old suburban houses in an urban setting, surrounded by arterial roads and major commercial developments, so our garden is a true local sanctuary. It harbours so much life it is buzzing and humming with birds and insects, brimming with fruit and vegetables and surrounded (to my mind) with protective spells and old country magic.
I also work with a fantastic Canadian handmade accessories design house called Shi Studio, and am eternally grateful to the relationships and collaboration that enabled me to get grounded on the handmade path. Check out www.shistudio.com to explore some beautiful hand made jewellry and to see some more of my leatherwork!

Frequently asked questions
I am happy to offer wholesale orders on my earrings at %50 of my retail cost when you buy 7 or more pairs. If you are interested in wholesale for my other designs, please contact me to discuss the possibility.
Custom and personalized orders
I love doing custom orders. If you have an idea for something you think I could make for you or a change to one of my designs that would make it better fit your vision, I am happy to discuss the possibilities.
If you are buying an apron it is handy for me to have an approximate height and waist size so I can craft a good fit.
Can you do items in a rush?
I really love to get things to you in time. Please tell me if there is a special date by which you need an item. Just ask and I may be able to move mountains to get it to you on time.
What about different shipping options?
I'm always exploring the different shipping options available. Earrings are shipped regular airmail, just like a letter, with no tracking. For aprons my prices as listed are for airmail package with a tracking number. Please ask me about rush shipping if you are in a hurry - I can often do overnight Fed Ex for between 90 and 130 USD. The price for plain airmail or even surface mail can be much cheaper, so if you do not need tracking and can wait longer, ask me about less expensive shipping options.
