5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely beautiful! The Basilica of St. Francis is an incredible structure and this painting does it justice. I had the chance to spend time in Assisi while in college and to this day I’ve never been to a better place. Heaven on earth. Thank you allowing me to bring a slice of Assisi to my room.

I work in my dining room, it has the best light. I hang my wet prints on the window to dry.

My son Gabriel loves to roll the ink with the brayer and make his own prints.

A carved block- I love how they look.
Cratsley Creations
My dad was a salesman, and I surely inherited the gene. My first sale was a drawing of a deer on a piece of slate to a classmate in 6th grade. I then graduated to original valentine cards, pyrography on wood fungus and Van Gogh t-shirts that I hawked on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum.
I became an art teacher and I dabble in a little bit of everything as a result: painting, printmaking, basketmaking, crafts, fiber arts- I love it all!
What I really enjoy making and wearing is origianal jewelry made of fused plastic. I've been making fused plastic pins for 20 years! The best part for me artistically is that I can make them in a short amount of time, something I don't have much of now that I have three sons! I like that I can sit down and make a few finished products in an hour or so, it fulfills my need to be creative and it's so much fun knowing there are people out there who like to wear my creations!
Lately I have really loved making linoleum block prints. I love carving the image and the physicality of printing them. I also like that prints are very affordable. My boys and I love the hobby letterboxing- which is a treasure hunt for hidden rubber stamps- often around landmarks or in parks. We have designed and carved original stamps to hide. Check out Atlasquest.com for more information- it is a lot of fun!
