Perfect! A really unique vintage vibe rather than the tired slick commercial treatment. Thanks!

About

Creating blues instruments from reclaimed materials.

Keeping the past in the present. Kochel Guitars combine history and tradition by using reclaimed materials from Montana in each of its handcrafted pieces. The body of the guitars are shaped from antique wood salvaged from torn down turn of the century buildings. The guitar necks are a variety of native woods and the fingerboards are shaped from reclaimed scrub oak pallets or other American hardwoods. Spent bullets serve as fret markers and the nut is hand-shaped from the bone of Montana elk and bison. The saddles are constructed from salvaged barn wood with an antique nail or old skeleton key. Each box guitar comes as acoustic/electric. In this day and age, when most things are discarded and forgotten, Kochel Guitars takes great pride in reusing resources and preserving a piece of our past. These treasured guitars, handcrafted one at a time, are steeped in history and the American Folk Tradition.
