where whimsy meets weird

I am a paper and scissors collage artist. I create all of my original collages using the traditional method in which everything is cut and pasted by hand. I salvage images from damaged books and magazines and juxtapose them to create something that's new-but-old and twisted-but-fun. It's my way of preserving and giving a second life to unique bits of pop culture history that would otherwise be discarded and forgotten.

My collages can be found in the suites on the cruise ship TUI Mein Shiff 4. They were also part of the Reese's Puffs Cereal mashup project. They have been published in Cosmetic Surgery: A Feminist Primer, Tubby Book, Houstonia Magazine, Volup2, and Plateform Magazine. They were also featured on Archie McPhee's Geyser of Awesome.

My collages have been exhibited in a solo show at The Grind in Chicago, IL and in group shows at the "Centenary of Collage" exhibition at Arison Gallery in Manchester, UK; the "Odditorium Detroit" exhibition at District VII Gallery in Detroit, MI; "The Postal Collage Project" in San Francisco and Berkeley, CA; Ginger Fox Gallery in Dallas, TX; Dormalou Project in Houston, TX; the Danforth Gallery in Livingston, MT; the Texas Association of Interior Designers' Art Show in Houston, TX; and the "Tiny Show" and "Nope Show" at Texas Art Asylum in Houston, TX.

Frequently asked questions
Do you make all of your pieces?

Yes, all of my pieces are UNIQUE and ORIGINAL works of art handmade by me. You will receive the actual ONE-OF-A-KIND work of art, not a print or photocopy.

Are your pieces framed?

In order to reduce shipping costs, my pieces are UNFRAMED. Most of my pieces will fit into standard 4x6, 5x7, or 8x10 inch frames. A few of my pieces are mounted onto ready-to-hang wood panels.

What do I do if I have a problem with my order?

5-star customer service is very important to me! If there is a problem with your order, please contact me and I will be happy to work with you to resolve it.

Is copyright to the artwork transferable with the sale of the item?

No, copyright is NOT transferable with sale. I retain all copyrights to the artwork. Artwork may NOT be reproduced by any process without my express written permission.

How quickly do you ship your items and how do you ship them?

All of my items are ready to ship. I ship them via USPS 1st Class Mail within 48 hours of receipt of payment.
