The French Rococo Brass Jardiniere I purchased at a discount from Lauren of Gypsy Pickin spent nearly a year in my local metal works shop being repaired. A melted blob of brass was removed. A missing foot was replaced. A broken wing from one of end figures was reattached. The 19th center jardiniere was then polished and lacquered and returned to me renewed for another 200 years of enjoyment. With some faith and imagination, one man’s trash truly is another man’s treasure.
