A Generation of Artists
Art has been in our family’s blood for generations. My Great Grandmother was a well known artist in Clermont Indiana. My Grandmother is very talented basket weaver and creative crafter. My Dad has always had a love for Art and has pushed me to pursue my passion for creation.
Some of my earliest memories are of attending Art festivals with my family because that is what my Dad did with his Mom and Dad; and what my grandmother did with her mother. My Fad can remember going to my Great Grandmother’s Art shows and since I’ve never met her, I always think that it’s amazing that one family can pass on our talents and keeping our traditions alive even after we are gone. Art for me is passing on my legacy to others. Creating Art for someone else is wonderful feeling for me!
My family grew up and resides in Indiana but My husband and I moved to Augusta To attend Dental school. My husband become and Endodontist and I became an art teacher. We truly fell in love with Augusta’s beauty and charm! We became true Masters fans which shows in my artwork.
I create art because something inside of me tells me to do so. I cannot sleep or do anything else until I have created the ideas and inspirations that come to me. I hope you see the beauty in my artwork and understand where it comes from. Each piece of art is a little piece of my long family’s rich art experiences and shared talent.
