Summer is always the time to reassess item pricing. Silk stock and fabric pricing has increased to point that I have been forced to increase some of my prices. I try to be reasonable in my pricing and want my customers to feel that they are getting value and quality for their money and hope that I have still maintained that principle.
********************************************************************************************

As always, thanks for stopping by and come again soon.

This artist is truly amazing. She works with you to create sensational silks with amazing results. That is remarkable considering the distance between her studio and my home. Several states separate us and still I received a garment which beauty and finishing is everything I could ask for...in fact, did desire!

So beautiful! The scarf was gorgeous in the photos, but even better in person! I couldn't be happier with my purchase, thank you so much!

Woooow! Just lovely! I am in constant amazement at the heart and talent of this artist. Everything coming out of the dye vat is scrumptious! I won't bother mentioning the sundries like after-purchase care and rapid delivery. Oops! I just did. 😉 Just awesome!

Welcome to Daisy "D" Designs!

..........................................the Etsy store that, hopefully, will help me pay off all those student loans for my child's out-of-state university education (she graduated, got a job in her field and is doing well, so it was all worth it) and provide me with income into my ever-nearing old age!

I have been very lucky over the past 10 years to work with Tamara, a wonderful fiber artist from Texas, each summer at a children's camp in North Carolina. She taught me to tie-dye so that I could get rid of an overstock of 600 adult small T's in our camp store - I never want to see another white t-shirt again as long as I live!

Tamara, then, suggested that I let her teach me Shibori, but I resisted. "Tamara!, do not mention dyeing fabric to me again!" She persisted, insisting that I would love it, and I am so thankful that she did. She was right. I absolutely love hand-dyeing and hand-pleating Shibori scarves! It is the perfect medium to continue exploring my love of color and texture. I hope you feel the same and will come back often to see my new creations.

I do all the hand-dyeing and hand-pleating of my Shibori scarves. I am not a seamstress, however, and so, I am thankful that I can purchase flat white scarf stock in the appropriate sizes with their hems already hand-rolled. That means that I have no pesky seamstress chores and can just get right to the fun and creative stuff! (With the burn-out scarves, I do all the dyeing. I purchase flat white scarves with the design already burned out. No design chores, just the fun of dyeing them fantastic colors!)

I do have pets in my home, so if you are extremely allergic, you may not want to purchase my items.

I am thrilled to have you visit my shop. Naturally, I hope you find something you cannot live without, but most importantly, I hope you will enjoy your visit and will come back often.

Thanks for stopping by.........and I hope to see you again soon.

Payment
I accept payment through Paypal. It's simple. They handle the sales tax etc., and it is totally stress-free for me. I hope it will be easy for you, as well.

I, also, accept payment by credit card through Etsy.
Shipping
I wish to keep shipping costs as low as possible, so for most part I will ship US Postal Service Priority or First Class Mail.

Expect your purchase to be shipped within 3 days of my receiving confirmation of your payment from Paypal. UPS Ground should take an additional 2-7 days to reach you depending on where you live. US Postal Service will hopefully be the same, but there is less guarantee with them.

International customers - I have added international shipping to my items, but if you want other faster options please contact me and we can work out your preferred shipping arrangements.
Refunds and Exchanges
Returns:

I want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase!

If you are not, or if your purchase arrives damaged, I will be happy to give you your money back.

I only ask that you convo me first to give me a heads up. This is, also, helpful in case of damage. That way, I can contact UPS/Postal Service to see how to proceed.

Then unless otherwise instructed just return the item:

1. Via UPS/US Postal Service whichever is applicable;
2. Within "7 DAYS" of receiving it;
3. In its "ORIGINAL PACKAGING" or exact facsimile (box with packing, bubblewrap envelope etc.);
4. With a "COPY of the INVOICE" included in the return.

I will refund original shipping cost (mine to you), but I will not be able to refund the cost of return shipping (from you to me).
Additional policies and FAQs
Repleating Scarves:

I am happy to offer repleating services for your scarf, however, repleating will change the position of the darker over-dyes. When repleated, you will either have a cross-hatched pattern or a more mottled, lights and darks together, pattern throughout the scarf. If you purchased a scarf in the cross-hatched pattern, it will repleat to look the same.

If you would like me to tell you how to repleat your scarf, just convo me and I will be happy to send you free pictorial instructions on how to repleat your scarf.

If you would like me to repleat your scarf, I will be happy to do so. I charge $10.00 which covers the repleating and reshipping (cost about $5.00 to ship it back to you in a box to protect the pleats).
