I got this as a father's day gift for my fiance. He's not really a bracelet guy but loloved it and hung it over his car visor!

Beautiful. We had an issue with the first package and it never got to me. I contacted the owner and she replaced the package. They are absolutely beautiful.

I love when I find interesting vintage pieces and can give them new life in a beautiful piece of jewelry

It all started one day at the bead store....

Years and years ago I stopped in at a local bead store close to my home in Seattle, WA, the name of which is "Beadworld". I was blown away by the thousands of beads and styles of beads and kind of lost track of time just looking around. I decided to try my hand at making some earrings on my own. The nice lady at the store gave me a pamphlet and showed me how to make loops, etc. I bought some pliers, beads, and findings, and was off!

Over the years I made earrings for myself and my friends. A few times I had little "earring making parties" where I showed others how to make simple earrings. One of my favorite things was to go to Beadworld and buy their little packs of odds and ends beads on clearance. I liked to see what I could come up with out of the pack.

In 2012, I decided to open a shop on Etsy. I named it DaisyLu after my grandmother (Daisy) and her mother (Lula). I felt like I actually signed up for an education because I learned so much about opening, stocking and maintaining a shop! Photography, new techniques, shipping, marketing, you name it! Because I now have experience running my own little company, I feel a greater sense of confidence and purpose in my day to day life.

The best part, though, has been creating pieces that make my customers happy. When I finish making a piece for a customer's order, I admire it and pray a blessing for its future owner. Then I package it carefully and send it on its way. My hope is that every item received will feel like finding a gift in the mailbox. I love hearing from my customers and when I know that they are delighted with their order, I am happy! I enjoy making things so much and feel such a connection to this community of crafters and customers.

Thanks for reading and I'd love to hear from you!
