Just a fun night of finishing a stack of embroideries! The back fabric is attached and now it's time to stitch them up!
The finished piece needs to be taken out of its hoop and fabric attached to cover the back to protect the loose strings.

I started embroidering in July 2024.

I had picked up a hoop here and there over the years to try it out but had never really gotten much out of it. Then, in 2024, Covid kicked my butt and I was bed-bound in quarantine for a few weeks, so I ordered some embroidery supplies. Then I ordered some more. Soon I couldn't stop.

Embroidery has given me something to focus on, improve my skills at, and enjoy doing. Sharing my work here, Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/DalioftheDogs) and on Instagram (@DalioftheDogs) hopefully brings other people enjoyment.

I don't use patterns or stencils, rather I either freehand or sketch from inspiration all drawings right onto the fabric.

My prices don't reflect the hours I put into my work. I only try to make back the money I spend on supplies so I can continue to get better at my craft and create more projects.

While I can't promise I can take on custom projects due to my skill level, I am always open to hearing ideas and suggestions for new works, whether they are a request which I can try to accommodate or just a suggestion for a piece! Feel free to send me a message to chat.
