Helping to bring the passion for collectibles to others

Born in Akron, Ohio, Eric was introduced to collecting at an early age by his father who had a strong passion for and ever growing of collection of fossils. As Eric got older, he developed the same sort of passion and began a collection of his own.

Eric moved to Dallas, TX in 2003 and began college at SMU. At that time he was offered an opportunity to work at Heritage Auctions in their numismatic department, which he excitedly accepted. Heritage is a large auction house that works with collectibles in 40 different categories. The experience and exposure to so many unique and amazing items opened Eric's eyes to the much broader world of collectibles.

Eric continued working at Heritage until 2012 when he left to work at his wife's family business. Although he was no longer working with collectibles day to day, Eric continued building his own collection. In 2019, Eric sold a few pieces out of his collection and realized that he enjoyed sharing his passion with other collectors. The following year, Eric officially started Dallas Stoneworks LLC and is excited to share his items with the world!

When not working, Eric enjoys rock climbing, hiking, scuba diving and traveling to exotic places where he's always on the lookout of unique specimens to add to his collection.
