I love my shirt! The quality of the t-shirt is good - the material is very soft and comfortable to wear. I also love telling the story of the image on the shirt, its history and significance. Shipping was extremely fast so I was able to wear this proudly to the March for Science even though I ordered it just a few days before.

About

Nerdy designs that make a difference

What do you do with a BA in biology, a passion for creation, and a purpose to do good for the world? Sasha's answer: create and design interactions and objects that facilitate positive relationships.

I have been screen printing for years; mostly for my family and friends, and the occasional commission. I decided to open an Etsy shop to share my passion for nerdy do-good art with more of the world. In my designs, I try to empower my audience/customers with strength, intelligence, kindness, and joy. I like making designs about things that make me feel happy and strong (like dance and vegetables), about silly nerdy things (like bad puns and beautiful mathematical concepts), and about social justice (like underrepresented women in science and critical thinking about social phenomena).

My partner, Hannah, helps me come up with print ideas (especially the silly nerdy ones). She has some magic skills in coming up with nerdy design ideas -- then I take them and make them visual and communicative. It's a pretty great partnership.

I am always on the lookout for new ideas, so if you have any ideas, requests, or thoughts, please message me! I create art because of the connection it forms between people, so any form of connection with my viewers/customers is valuable to me.

I recently graduated from Harvard University with a BA in biology, and now I work as a designer in San Francisco. I am passionate about combining STEM, education, and design to make the world a little bit of a better place.
