We are Gina (mom) and Rachael (daughter). We LOVE handmade and vintage stuff, and we know you do, too! (Otherwise, you wouldn't be browsing our Etsy shop.) It's important to us to spread the word about the advantages of vintage and handmade/artisan-made items. It means a lot to us when we can spend our money on other artists' items, and vice versa.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express

  • Pay with PayPal
  • Money Order
Payment
Payment is due within seven (7) days of purchase. We accept PayPal and money orders (in U.S. funds; U.S. Postal Service and/or Western Union money orders preferred). If you choose to cancel your order, kindly let us know via Etsy convo within 48 hours of purchase.
Shipping
We both have day jobs, but we will do our darnedest to ship your order out as quickly as possible once it's ready to go.

We ship via U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail or FedEx Ground (whichever option is least expensive for you, our customer). If you need your order RIGHT AWAY, please contact us first for a Rush Shipping quote.

Naturally, we will refund to you (via PayPal) any overpayment on shipping. We *always* get tracking numbers and insurance for our packages...while this costs a little more, we believe it's worth it. Better safe than sorry!

And we do ship internationally--those of you outside the U.S., please contact us for a shipping quote BEFORE you buy.
Refunds and Exchanges
Custom orders are NOT returnable. However, if an order arrives to you damaged or incomplete, please be sure to let us know as quickly as possible--preferably within seven (7) days of receipt. Once we receive your returned item, we will work with you to either 1) provide a replacement, or 2) refund your payment. We'll also be happy to repair an item that has broken/torn due to our mistake during the sewing/quilting process...however, we cannot and will not be held liable for items torn, stained, or otherwise damaged when the customer mishandles them.
Additional policies and FAQs
Yes, we do custom quilt and dress orders. Please convo us for details. :-)

Please also note that ANY quilt order will take a MINIMUM of twelve (12) weeks--that's three (3) months--to be completed and shipped to you. We put together each quilt as orders come in, so yours is truly made just for you. It's a fresh quilt, so to speak. If you're in a major "need-it-by-next-weekend-for-my-friend's-wedding" rush, then you'll want to purchase a quilt from another Etsy shop instead of ours.

All the items in our shop come to you from a tobacco-smoke-free home. Quilts and clothing are washed and hung to dry in the Georgia sunshine on our outdoor clothesline. HOWEVER, you should be aware of the following:
1) Our shop is heated in the winter with a wood-burning stove. You may smell a little wood smoke on your item(s), but this will fade quickly once the item is out of the package and begins absorbing the smells of your home.
2) We have cats--LOTS of them. While they generally aren't allowed to lounge around on our garments or quilts, and while we thoroughly wash everything we make and send to you, you may still find some kitty fur on your items. (We've found we can't get ALL the cat fur off our own garments, try as we might.)
3) Old/vintage sewing patterns are kept in a cat-proof plastic storage container until they're shipped to you.

Soooo, having said all the above: If you're sensitive/allergic to wood smoke or cats, OR if you have to have your custom quilt order *right away,* you might NOT want to place an order with us. Again, better safe than sorry.
