I started my shop back in 2007-- back then I was a "just graduated from college-ite" who was looking for a way to share my crafting love with the world. Unfortunately, life, and my "big person job" (teaching) got in the way.
Fast forward to 2012, I was recently engaged to a high school friend, who is in the Air Force and it just so happens that we could not live any further apart in the continental United States than we did (New Jersey and Washington) so I left my job to be able to travel back and forth between my home on the east coast to his home on the west coast. Re-opening my shop was my way working from home, helping to contribute to our household expenses, keeping myself busy while he deploys, and once again- sharing my love of crafting and photography with the world.
We were married in July 2013 and since then have lived in 3 different states; New Jersey, Washington and now Texas. Home is where the Air Force sends us!

My shop was started when I was a military spouse to be in search of unique ways of showing my support to my fiancé during deployments and our long distance relationship. I'm happy to report that the long distance dating is over, but the deployments continue, so this shop is and will remain near and dear to my heart. I love hearing the back stories from my customers as to why their purchasing my items - often times I can relate and empathize!

{Processing Time}
*Please first check my Shop Announcement on top of front page of my shop for any current Vacation, Moving (PCS'ing) or Holiday Announcements*
These Announcements override the below processing times or processing times in my listings. If you have any questions, please contact me via Etsy Convo.

I typically ship 2-3 times a week, but only on weekdays. Any orders placed on Friday will not go out until the following week.

*If you need something quicker than my listing times state, please contact me first so that arrangements can be worked out. I can often work on a rush schedule, but please check with me first to make sure that I can accommodate you!

I do offer Priority and Priority Express shipping, but my current production time will still remain in effect. If it is an absolute rush, it is imperative that you contact me first to see if I can make/ship the item quickly.

Metal Stamped Jewelry/Accessories:
Each item is made to order, and as such, production time is usually 3-5 business days from the time of order (again- please see shop announcements for any changes due to moving, vacations or holidays). You will receive notification from Etsy when I print out your shipping label. This information will include a tracking number so you can follow your package.

Prints are ordered within 1-2 days of you placing the order. I order my prints through Mpix, and have them shipped directly to you to help save on shipping costs. When I have received notification that your order has been shipped, I will update your receipt to show that it has been shipped and include a tracking number for you. Mpix often has their items in the mail within a day or two of me placing the order.

I accept all forms of payment that Etsy offers: direct checkout through your credit card, Paypal and Etsy Gift Cards.
Most of the time payment goes through immediately and I can begin making your item. However, there is the slight occasion where payment takes longer than anticipated to be approved by Etsy. Should this happen, I will contact you through Etsy convo and keep you updated as to the status of your order.
Shipping is to the US, Canada and select countries overseas. For international orders to countries not listed, please contact me with the following information so that I can figure shipping costs for you:
What items you wish to purchase and their quantity.
I will get back to you within 24-48 hours with shipping options and prices and you can pick which option you like best and I will set up a custom order for you with the adjusted shipping price.

To any international buyers: Please note that buyers are responsible for any and all duties, customs fees, carriage fees, handling fees or VAT charges that may be incurred when shipping outside of the United States. It is illegal for me to mark "gift" on customs forms and I will not do so.

I do all shipping through USPS.

For my metal stamped jewelry and accessories, all packages are mailed First Class, with tracking information, and this takes approximately 3-5 business days. If you need an item sooner, it can be upgraded to Priority Mail (1-3 business days) at an additional cost to you.
Shipping upgrades only apply to the shipping portion of the transaction. My processing time will remain the same. As stated above, please contact me before hand if an item is needed by a certain date.
*Please note that I cannot be held responsible for Post Office shipping times- these are the approximate times given to me by the Post Office, but actual delivery may vary*

All orders are shipped to the address you have on your Etsy or Paypal account.
It is the buyers responsibility to ensure their shipping address is current and updated as needed before ordering. If you see you have not updated your shipping address and a previous address appears on your invoice - Contact me immediately via Etsy Conversation. If your order has not shipped - I can change the address and ship to the new address you provide me.

If an incorrect shipping address is provided on your order and you do not advise me of a corrected address in advance of shipping, I have no way to retrieve your order once shipped. If your order is returned to us due to incorrect address on your order, shipping charges will apply to re-send it to you at a different address. If tracking shows package as Delivered to the incorrect address on your order - I Do Not Free Replace or Refund orders due to incorrect shipping addresses provided.

Beyond purchasing the correct label and delivering the package to the post office in a timely manner, we cannot be responsible for the postal service. If the package takes longer to deliver than it "should" according to the USPS policies, that is an issue to address with your local post office.

In January 2015, the USPS closed down nearly 100 sorting facilities. This is now resulting in delays for first class mail (both domestic and international). Unfortunately, any delays due to this are out of my hands. First class mail (domestic) can take anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks to arrive. I have found that signing up for text or email alerts through the USPS website can help speed things along. For international orders, shipping can take anywhere from 1-4 weeks to arrive, especially if the item gets held up in customs. Again, unfortunately, this is out of my hands, so be sure to place your order early enough to give it time to arrive in time!

No one (and no service!) is perfect, but should the unfortunate happen (lost item, item not delivered, damaged item, etc), please read the following:

If your order tracking shows as delivered and you did not receive it:
1. Check with each member of the household to see if they brought it in for you.
2. Check with neighbors to see if it was left by the carrier at their home in error.
3. Contact your Post Office immediately if you do not locate the delivery.
The Post Office will be able to research delivery from their end with the tracking number that is provided to you in your order receipt and you can request to speak with your personal carrier as to where the package was delivered or where it was placed.

If none of those results in a found package, please contact me, and I will extend a discount to you so that you may re-purchase.

Although most orders are shipped First Class with an "Estimated Delivery" of 3-5 Business Days, this is not a Guaranteed service by the Post Office. Issues can occur such as mis-routing, weather conditions in states your package may route through, U.S. holidays, etc. Major holidays will incur much longer shipping times. If you have received your shipping notification allow up to 10 shipping days (for domestic orders 3 weeks for international orders) and then notify us. I will submit a Missing Mail in Transit form with USPS. I will need to allow additional time to see if this locates your package, checking the tracking daily to see if your package has started to move toward it's destination before determining it is possibly Lost in Transit.

If your package is Lost in mail sufficient time must be allowed for Post Office investigation to check the status of your package and attempt to locate it. I will fill out USPS Missing Package forms and allow 5-10 days to see if your package has been located and moving in transit once again. If your package is not located after investigation period, I will issue you a full refund or replace your order at your choice.

Contact me Immediately through Etsy convo (within 30 days of shipping notification date).
Please include photos of all the damaged product and the damaged package. Please retain the product and packaging until I notify you to dispose of it or return it. After I have received the photos, I will process a full refund or free replacement to your order.
Refunds and Exchanges
Due to the custom nature of the products, I regret to inform you that I cannot accept returns on custom made metal stamped items (Items with custom latitude/longitude, initials, special dates, etc).
However, if there is a problem or mistake (on my end), please contact me immediately via Etsy Conversation and we can work out a replacement or refund.

- Contact me immediately via Etsy Conversation if you made an error in the information you provided on your order and if it has not been shipped yet, I will change and fix the order. If it has been shipped, please contact me so we can work something out. I will not replace due to an error on the buyers part, but I will extend a discount so that you can get a correct product.

- It is the buyers responsibility to ensure they order the correct product, the correct design, provide the correct date and spelling of all names, coordinates, initials, dates, etc. on their order as I will stamp whatever numbers/words you tell me.

- Your order will be created exactly as your order states and No Refunds, Exchanges or Returns will apply if errors are provided by buyer and your order is already in production or has been shipped.

- I am only human and mistakes happen. If I did make a mistake on your item, please contact me via Etsy Conversation and include a photo of the mistake. As soon as I have a photo, I will make and ship a new one out to you.

For non-custom metal stamped items (many of my Disney quote bracelets/necklaces), I will refund, minus the shipping cost, once the item has been returned to me in new, unused condition, with all packaging. Please contact me before returning. Contact must be made within 14 days of the posted delivery date.

For non-custom embroidered items, I will refund, minus the shipping cost, once the item has been returned to me in new, unused condition, with all packaging. Items must have no obvious smell to them (smoke, pet, etc). Please contact me before returning. Contact must be made within 14 days of the posted delivery date.

Refunds are processed through Etsy or Paypal (depending on how you paid). Credit cards and bank debit cards have differing time frames as to how long it takes for them to apply the refund to your account. Please check directly with them if you have any timing concerns. I do not refund shipping costs.

Photography is not returnable due to the ease of reproduction.
Additional policies and FAQs
In most instances, I can stamp on the reverse of your item, but there are a few limitations;
Please contact me via Etsy Conversation *before* purchasing so I can go over it with you.
- The phrase you have in mind must fit (please contact me because the character limit depends on the item)
- There will be a charge of .20c per character for the extra stamping. (Again, please contact me *before* you purchase so I can set up a custom listing with the adjusted price.
- Any stamping done on the reverse will be done lighter than the stamping on the front. It is still read-able, it is just lighter so that the stamping does not affect the words/numbers on the front.

Any items that have 2 washers stacked are "tack glued" by me during production. This is to ensure that the washers do not get mixed up, and is not meant to be permanent. These washers may come to you glued together, but it is very likely that the glue will come undone during normal wear- this is not a defect and is perfectly normal.

{Information Regarding Coordinates and Military OPSEC}
My products are designed to show the coordinates in the format shown (degrees and minutes only). This is to help keep our military members and their families within OPSEC guidelines. A longer set of coordinates (using degrees, minutes *and* seconds) would provide a very exact location which could put the service men and women and/or their families at an increased risk. By using just degrees and minutes, the location can be kept general to help protect you.
If you would like an exact location with a longer set of coordinates, please contact me *prior* to purchasing. If it is on a product that can fit it, I am happy to accommodate this request, but there is an extra charge of .20c per character for the extra stamping. When contacting me, please let me know the coordinates you would like to stamp so that I can figure out the extra cost and set up a custom listing for you.

For photography: please note that monitors all display colors differently and the colors that appear on your computer may differ slightly than the final product. All photographs have been taken by me and carefully edited on my calibrated monitor- when I print them through MPix, I do not allow them to color correct so you will get the most accurate, vivid photograph possible.
