Hi, my name is Dana Marie and I am a self-taught artist. I’ve loved art ever since I child. I was always making things with whatever I could find, but it wasn't until after my soon was born (little over 23 years ago) when started painting and selling my work. Due to pain and fatigue issues I have been known to take many months off of painting so I haven't been painting all those 23 years. However, since finding my new Rheumatologist a couple years ago I've been going pretty strong and only needing to take a couple days off instead of months on end! Yay!! What a change! And the more I can paint the better I feel so it's a win-win!! I'm thrilled to be painting and creating almost daily and hope it shows in my vibrant creations that I hope exude the joy I feel when I'm creating! My desire is to paint something beautiful with at least a sprinkling of whimsy that others will love and enjoy. I've always been a private person, so I find painting is a way of being able to share with others a piece of who I am...an expression of me. I mostly use acrylic paint on canvas, but I really enjoy painting on wood too. Needless to say, I absolutely love what I do and I hope it shows at least a little in each piece I create.
