I learned how to bead hat bands and bracelets when I was young. Then I was guided by my ancestors to make the story bands part of my journey through the illusion which has continued for 70 years now. The story is simple but strong, it is basically the spirits travel from the stars and back to the stars. My medicine flows around my bands in the circle created on the hat. My shop is cleansed with the smoke of sage and pine every morning so my hat bands carry only a sense of peace and happiness with them. Welcome to dancingBlackbird. My hat bands are my own vision and interpretation of our traditional story. When you wear a Johnny Blackbird hat band you share in the medicine and the story of the spirits journey from the stars and back to the stars again.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Custom or personalized orders
Perishable products (like food or flowers)
Digital downloads
Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Returns and exchange details

Returns for any reason other than damage will be handled on an individual basis. If returned for reasons other than damage the item must be received in the same condition it was shipped in. Contact me to arrange a return. If you pay to return your item dancingBlackbird will cover the cost up to the original shipping cost.

Payment

dancingBlackbird accepts Paypal and Etsy direct payments. I do not accept personal checks, money orders or certified checks. Items sold in states where sales tax is charge it will be collected if your item is delivered to any of those states. Order cancellation can be done before your purchase is shipped for a full refund. Returns will be accepted on an individual basis and the buyer pays shipping.

Shipping

All items are shipped via USPS first class package or Priority. If you require another shipping method contact me before your purchase. All of my work is made to order and will ship immediately upon completion. Nothing ships over the weekend. All shipments are insured. Returns must be insured. This is for the customers protection.
