hello and thank you for visiting my place. let me share a little bit about myself and my art . . .

i am an intuitive artist who is fueled through positive connections with family and friends, laughter, and caffeine. i'm extremely grateful for my creative inspiration and the ability to share my art with you. i enjoy creating art with rough edges, layers and imperfections because life is imperfect. i prefer messy over tidy. i love bold and bright over soft and mellow. i love me a lot of texture.

i find that working as a mixed-media artist fuels my inspiration. what is mixed media you might ask? technically speaking, mixed media art is a visual art form that combines a variety of media into a single artwork. for me, mixed media is limitless options for creating art with layers, depth, and texture.

i begin each new canvas using torn pieces of paper because this creates rough and uneven edges in the surface layer. next i use molding paste and gel and to gradually build thick layers of texture. then i add a mix of vibrant, bold colors to create art that invites your hand to reach out and touch the surface!

i truly enjoy witnessing the moment when your emotions connect with my art. i can see a smile start to spread across your face as your hand automatically reaches up to touch the texture...and then you realize and you ask me if it’s okay...

i am a self-taught artist located in mansfield, massachusetts. my art has been published in the summer 2016, winter 2017 and jul/aug 2018 editions of somerset studio design gallery magazine published by stampington & company.
