These earrings are actually spectacular! I’ve hadspoon-end earrings before, with a nice Art Deco or Nouveau detailing, but these have very simple, timeless design, that is all about catching the light. They’re a bit larger than I’d expected so they have a nice heft, a little weight that dances from the wites. The subtle etched design appears both front and back, giving them a very classy, finished look. Even silver wire hooks are very good, much nicer quality than in most earrings. And of course the silver gleam goes with any attire or occasion. These are the ultimate go-to earrings. I’m delighted!

Creating a Beautiful Life, One Spoon At a Time

I am creating a beautiful life on my own terms. I began my journey as a serious artist six years ago and my passion for creating is forever growing.

In the Spring of 2006 I quit my heartless factory job. I got so fed up with the way corporations treat human beings I threw my work boots in the river and promised myself I would never again spend my days doing something I hate.
I suppose my boots are somewhere floating in the gulf by now, or perhaps mulch for a weeping willow.

Now I am running my own business, using my creative energy to create beautiful, unique jewelry that will make the person wearing it feel wonderful.

I am driven by the desire to share the stories of discarded silverware. Bringing them alive again making vintage silverware something to be cherished and used again. I also love restoring abandoned cars, old bikes and anything rusty!

Once at a flea market, I found an old spoon with lots of visible wear on one side of its bowl and I couldn't help wondering who owned that spoon and how many homemade meals they must have eaten with it. Moments like that remind me how awe inspiring the circular flow of energy is our universe. I hope to express this flow in all of my work.
