I treat my customers as if they are my bestest of friends. If I don't trust a piece to last, it doesn't get listed. Each of my pieces are handmade with great care, tested and lovingly polished to a shine. However, accidents can occur where a piece may either not make it through shipping or come apart somehow... but PLEASE contact me if this does occur. I most absolutely can make repairs, and always make good to the best of my ability on any situation. My philosophy is and will always be "Treat others how you would like to be treated." It's a simple enough concept, yet so few and far between that one actually comes across this in a business-type situation.
I am here to change that.

❧ SHAPED PLUG INFO
***Please be aware that with shaped plugs, like teardrops or hearts, gauge sizes are approximate. There may be very slight differences as everyone's ears are different and these plugs are handmade. Rest assured I strive to make nothing but the best, and should you have any problems please contact me asap and we will work together to resolve the issue.***

These are the basic sizes I work with-
8g - 3mm
6g - 4mm
4g - 5mm
2g - 6mm
0g - 8mm
00g - 10mm
7/16" - 11mm
1/2" - 12mm
9/16" - 14mm
5/8" - 15mm
3/4" - 19mm
7/8" - 22mm
1" - 25mm

Plug length (wearable area) on all of my plugs is approximately 5/16", which is the average size for plugs. If you need more or less room, please let me know before placing your order.

WOOD PLUG INFO

NEVER STRETCH YOUR EARS WITH ORGANIC OR POROUS MATERIALS.
Please only wear my wood plugs in completely healed ears.

❧ ALLERGIES -
I make sure that all of my plugs are made of 'safe' wood for jewelry, but allergic reactions can still occur. If your ears get irritated from the wood- TAKE THEM OUT. There is always a chance that an allergic reaction could occur with any organic material. Just because some people don't have one doesn't mean others can't.

❧ CUSTOM ORDERS-
Custom orders are always welcome. Message me any ideas you may have along with the color(s) you want and size desired, up to 1". Custom Order Listings are located in the featured section of my shop. For sizes up to 3", contact me to set up a special custom listing. Please allow up to 3 working days before shipment on all custom orders.

❧ WHY WOOD?
When wearing wood plugs, you will notice you no longer get that tell-tale "gunk" that say, metal or acrylic will produce in your ears. They won't smell bad, either. Wood plugs allow for your ears to breathe more than synthetic or metal plugs, because it is porous. The wood I use for my plugs is maple, a hardwood that is very light to wear... from 2g up to 3", or exotic wood when noted. Every pair is hand sanded to a glassy smooth finish and lovingly coated to a shine with all natural beeswax, then finished off with 100% pure jojoba oil. Jojoba oil is not only good for wood plugs, but also great for ears, too!!!

✯ HAPPY PLUGS ✯

✔ DO wax your plugs with beeswax or an all natural beeswax-based wood polish regularly. (I include a small sample pot of what I use on my plugs, and also have it available for puchase in full size in the shop) Use a soft toothbrush or a stiff brush to apply the wax and rub it into the wood gently with your fingers. This polishes and conditions the wood, filling any ridges and making the wear much more comfortable than without. Top them off with a drop of jojoba oil and polish to a shiny finish with a soft cloth. Vitamin E, peanut or mineral oil can also be used, even olive oil will do in a pinch. A good waxing and a drop of oil every other week should do the job on plugs worn daily.
✔ DO clean your plugs periodically (even when not wearing them) with a mild soap such as Dial or Tea Tree Oil. (Spot test skin first to be sure you have no reaction to Tea Tree Oil) Just a quick rinse will do, try not to completely submerge them and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
✔ DO file or buff your plugs lightly if they get rough. To do this, simply take a very fine grit sandpaper (400-600+) or a fine fingernail buffing block (found at most pharmacies, and even some dollar stores) and buff the plugs smooth again, but don't forget to wax and oil them up afterwards!
✘DO NOT use alcohol or alcohol-based anything (i.e. antibacterial santitizers) on your plugs, as this will dry out the wood and lead to cracking. Also, steer clear from getting chemicals on your plugs such as antibacterial ointment, lotions or hair spray, as it will soak into the wood and could irritate the skin.
✘DO NOT wear your plugs in the shower, in the pool or in a sauna. When wood gets wet, it tends to expand, and as it dries it retracts again. Over time the plugs may get a little rough from expanding and retracting. To smooth them out again, simply buff them with a nail block, re-wax then polish them with a drop of oil.
✘DO NOT store your plugs in direct sunlight or near a heat source like on a windowsill, in a hot car or on a radiator. This will dry out the wood- also leading to dry, cracked plugs.

❧Final Thoughts
NEVER USE ANY POROUS MATERIAL IN FRESHLY STRETCHED
OR IRRITATED LOBES.
This includes wood, bone and polymer clay. Infection can settle into the pores of the plugs and can lead to long-term damage of your ears.

❧Over time, wood plugs may darken from their original color due to the application of oils and everyday wear. This is completely normal and expected with organic jewelry.
