The sense of color especially is wonderful, and I always receive compliments when I wear my pieces from darryl black, either separately or on their own. Also, just want to leave a special note that the quality of the garments from this shop is very high (seams well finished, patchwork done very well), since this is not always the case with upcycled pieces. <3

I have been designing and producing unique handcrafted, deconstructed & Upcycled Clothing since the early 90’s when I had stalls at London's Portobello & Spitalfields markets.I went on to stock several boutiques in the capital, UK & internationally.

I strive to create high quality, unique and individual pieces of handmade clothing. I would never sell anything I wouldn't wear myself, so buy with confidence.
Every item is carefully handcrafted by me to be enjoyed for years to come.All items are made from recycled and other "found" materials, so it is eco friendly clothing that is kind to the earth.
As an independent designer, I spend many hours making each piece – from personally hunting through charity shops,carboots and markets and other sources for the best cashmere, wool and vintage fabrics, to designing, cutting, sewing and finishing. Every dress, sweater, coat and accessory is either one of a kind or one of a very limited edition.All my pieces are eco friendly - upcycled or vintage.
*** Please note - Upcycled silk clothing must be hand washed cold water for lasting beauty!
-Upcycled knitwear should be handwashed in cool/warm water and dried naturally.

All custom orders are final sales. If you are unhappy with your custom order convo me and we can discuss our options.
Unworn, unaltered items can be exchanged within 5 days of shipment, for store credit.
Refunds are available-
