An artistic voice comes in all mediums.

I've had my shop for several years. I began with prints of my digital art but for various reasons stopped actively selling for a while.

A couple of years ago I designed a Christmas card to sell in a friend's bricks and mortar shop. I had some left over so put them here on Etsy and they started flying of the (virtual) shelves. This renewed my enthusiasm, so I started looking at new ways to channel my creativity. I used a couple of my photos as designs for jigsaws, they seemed to go down well, too.

My art and design has always been the standard printed variety, used for wall art, jigsaws and greetings cards. My daughter has a shop that sells 3D printed earrings, which sparked my interest for making my own items, so I bought my own printer. I started with mid-century style drop earrings and then had an idea for using the printer as a basis for the designs. This brought about my vinyl records and book earrings.

The next part of the story is making my own coasters, keyrings. and other similar items. I wanted to do this myself, rather than using a print-on-demand supplier as I have more control over what I make and also the time it takes to get the items to customers. This is still very new and I'm still testing the waters but it's another fun branch to my hobby-come-business.
